  • Re: Highlighting Slowness

@Tommy, I am experiencing the highlighting slowness with my ESV which has many notes and highlights. I can have both the ESV and Alone With God open at the same time and highlighting in the ESV will be slow and highlighting in Alone With God will be fast. Thanks.

@Tommy, yes I have only one highlight in Alone With God and thousands of highlights (and growing) in my ESV. It would be great to get a fix for this since it slows my reading down, having to wait for my highlights to "stick".

BTW, I also have LOTS of highlights in my ESV so my hypothesis is the same as Paul's - it may have to do with the large number of highlights within a resource rather than the size of the note file.

Last night I tried selecting a new note file when highlighting in the ESV and it was still slow to display the highlight on the screen. I also tried highlighting a different resource (Alone With God - John MacArthur) and it displayed the highlight instantly. Thanks, -Jeff

I'm not sure how big the file is that contains the highlight information. I haven't changed any of the defaults, so I suppose it is using whatever the default file is.

Hello Graham, When I select a scripture and highlight it, it is taking 10-20sec to see the verse highlighted on the screen. The bible is downloaded to the iPhone and I have experienced this while using WiFi and 3G. Thanks, -Jeff

Hello, When I highlight a section of scripture in the iPhone app I am experiencing a long delay before the highlight displays on the screen. Is this normal behavior? Thanks, -Jeff

  • Re: Please add SCROLLING option versus Page Turn

I found a method to do a page turn that will place the desired verse at the top of the page... If you drag the bottom right corner up to turn on split-screen (iPhone, portrait orientation), you can position the split screen precisely where you want the top of the page to be and then do a page turn. Then drag the split screen back down to the bottom right

  • Minimal Library

Hello! I would like to install Logos on my work PC but I don't want to download everything in my library - I just want a couple of bibles. Is it possible to specify which resources to install? Thanks, -Jeff

  • Logos 4.5 Notes

I was really hoping for automatic hyperlinking of bible references in Mac Logos 4.5 but it looks like that is still missing. Does anybody know when that will be added? Thanks.

I would LOVE to see some work done on the Notes functionality. Just yesterday I lost all notes I had entered in church due to losing connectivity during a sync. :(

I also just noticed that editing large notes is slow in both Windows and Mac, but the Mac is exceptionally slow with the rainbow ball appearing as I'm entering text. (and my iMac is a much faster machine than my Windows which is running on a Macbook).

I just edited a note in Logos 4 Mac and when it sync'd to Logos 4 Windows, the entire note was duplicated and the new text I added was appended to the bottom of the dupe note.

  • Notes - Mac / Windows Difference

Hello, When I copy and paste text that contains bible references into a note in Logos 4 Windows, the references are hyperlined. However, if I copy and paste the same text into a note in Logos 4 Mac, the references do not get hyperlinked. Also, if I mouseover note hyperlinks in Logos 4 Windows, the preview window popus up but this does not happen in
