• Re: LA171 & LA181

This frustrates me. Like one of the other posters, I too purchased the origianal DVD set back in 2010. They had so many issues, they came out with the upgrade at a discount...I believe it was about $150 also. I purchased those. The comments on this forum shows that they too had many errors and mistakes. So now, third time is a charm? It seems not. I

As I am sure you know by now, chapter 7 is the largest difference between the 2 confessions. I have found the 1689 Federalism site to be most helpful. Any lectures by Brandon Adams, Richard Barcellos, Sam Renihan and Samuel Waldron are helpful. Logos has a Reformed Baptist collection that has good material... we have asked for new materials in this

  • Re: A systematic theology friendly to confessional baptist covenant theology

I too am somewhat new to the Cov. Baptist perspective. I agree with the comments made so far, and if these were my resources, I think I would check out the one edited by Matthew Barrett. He is putting out some good materials these days that is getting praises by the likes of Richard Barcellos and Craig A. Carter. Something new to me has been the logical

  • Any Concerns?

I am about to change from an Android mobile phone to an Apple mobile phone. Will I have any issues using my Logos mobil app compared to what I have been using?

Hey Bruce. I work full time as a Quality Engineer for a Honda Supplier. We have ceased production to mirror Honda. As a salaried employee, they had us working last week, while the hourly associates are drawing unemployment. This coming week (tomorrow), I will work M and T, but they are requiring all salaried associates to use PTO for the remainder of

Your computer is way newer than mine. I had to have a graphics card and a VSA splitter. Yours may be simpler.
We desperately need this! And other resources from modern 1689 confessional authors such as Waldron, Barcellos, Renihan, etc.!!
Now we can add from Founders Press- The Mystery of Christ, His Covenant, and His Kingdom - by Samuel Renihan

  • Re: Jesus in every book...but not Satan.

As this thread is very close to venturing into Theological debate, I will just posit this one thing- how many times do the NT writers take OT Scriptures and apply them to Jesus, even though in the original context, they were about Israel? How did Abraham see Christ's day and rejoice? How did Moses speak of Jesus? Bottom line, if you deny that Christ

  • Re: An G.K. Beale book against a G.K. Beale book

I have both. The commentary is definitely something I refer to often. The handbook is more of a guide to the methodology used to make the commentary. Nice to have if you want to go deeper into understanding how the NT writers used the OT. But the commentary is more usable.

Is the subscription searchable in our Logos program? If I do a "Search Everything" or "Search Collection Journal" for such and such topic, will it work?

  • Re: Dual Monitor or Wide/ Curve Screen

I have two 24 inch monitors side by side. I love the set up. I can have Logos on one, and either my word processor or internet on the other. If needed, I can minimize programs to take half a monitor, opening up space for 4 applications opened. To have two monitors, you need a good graphics card. Not a top of the line gaming card, but a good one. I have

There are many Reformed Baptist titles along with Puritan writings on www.solid-ground-books.com that would be GREAT in Logos. -Covenant Theology: From Adam to Christ, by Nehemiah Coxe and John Owen -The Fatal Flaw of the Theology Behind Infant Baptism, by Jeff Johnson -Covenant Theology: A Reformed and Baptistic Perspective on God's Covenants, by Greg
