The above book was released in the last month (or 2) and I noticed that it is missing some tagging. Resources that already exist in Logos aren’t linked like Zondervan Illustrated Bible Backgrounds Commentary. Does the fact that it is a reader edition make that so? https://www.logos.com/product/210748/jesuss-final-week-from-triumphal-entry-to-empty

Rebuilding the specific fixed my issue. As for the tagging, I do wish these results would show in the media search. A search for Aegean Civilization doesn't pull up the image from the encyclopedia
-
That fixed it. Thanks MJ
-
MJ is one smart cookie! I didn't know I could index just one resource. I'll give that a go. I was dreading the rebuild index Let's see if that fixes it

Interesting find... I can't search for anything in this resource on my MAC. All searches turn up zero. Does that mean it is corrupted or a MAC bug? If just me, any thoughts how to fix it? I also posted this in the desktop forum as I thought it was a MAC bug Edit: I am using the inline search (magnifying glass). CMD+F will find words

Not sure if this is just me or other Mac users but when I do a #image search in it I come up with zero results. When I do it on my iPhone or WebApp, it shows all of the photos. I posted images in this forum: https://community.logos.com/forums/p/206633/1203164.aspx#1203164
I opened the newly added Media Collection, not the Encyclopedia, all by itself and was able to search and display just fine. Are you trying to link the three and search from 1 to 2 to 3?
Would you mind trying a #image search in the non-media Compton's encyclopedia? Does it have any results? Edit: I can also open
-
Here is the part about the indexes
-
Kyle I'm not sure if the Mac version is different from the PC/Web version but #image turns up 0 results on my Mac. Yes it is downloaded and indexed
-
Well now I am stumped. When I did this search last night on my mac it resulted in 0 results
-
It seems we are playing tag sir :) I wrote this on the feedback site: I am away from my desktop but when I looked at the info section for the book under indexes I didn’t see one for images. As for the search, in other resources (e.g. Boyd Dictionary) I can do a “#image” in the find box to pull up all images but not in this one. I tried

If interested, you can vote here: https://feedback.faithlife.com/boards/logos-resource-updates/posts/compton-s-encyclopedia-image-tagging In short, this encyclopedia has thousands of images that don't show in the media tool and can't be searched for using #image.

I want to thank Faithlife for fixing this and unlocking the media collection. I know I didn’t express my thoughts in the best way I should have but Faithlife fixed it like an amazing company does so thank you. Shoutouts to Joe McCune and Mitch Snyder
We're looking into the issue and hope to have a fix by the end of the day. Sorry about that Mattillo!
Thank you Mr. Snyder

Thank You Steve. I did see that option. I still feel it is ridiculous that Logos sells the Compton's Encyclopedia but doesn't include the Compton's Encyclopedia (Media) content with it. Instead it is locked into the Encyclopedia Britannica collection (which has its own media). The product page does (or at least did) state it comes with media and video
-
It seems I don’t have the media resource. I purchased the Factbook collection which included Comptons but not the companion Media resource. My complaint is that the description for Comptons seems to state that it should be included. I’ll see what CS has to say I guess
-
How do I access the media included in this resource? The description mentions images and videos but I don’t see them in my library or my media tool. I can see some images in the resource itself but how would I access the videos? https://www.logos.com/product/179186/comptons-encyclopedia Overview This reliable reference work includes over 19,000

I got mine for less than half along with a few others in the HotBuys this month through the Factbook collection. Haven't looked at it yet though :) https://www.logos.com/product/175509/factbook-collection

I also use Google to find Bible verse that are just on the tip of my tongue. Fuzzy search has come a long way, but Google is still faster.
I also still find that Google is faster and more accurate when trying to find things. However, Fuzzy Search in Logos has significantly improved. I recently did switch
