    Hi and thanks again, but it doesn't become the "default" page. It opens in the new saved format, but reverts without Exegetical when you change the Scripture verse or go the home page and return. It's okay. Logos apologized for the problem and is working to fix it.

    Hi and thanks to all. Here is the problem, which I failed to explain. I know I can save a new layout with exegetical next to passage guide. In order to actually have it open to that saved layout, you must also go to the "GO" box and type in "Program Settings". Then put in the name of the saved layout and it will open to that layout.     I have had Logos Bible Software for 20 years, before it was Logos, and really enjoyed using it for Bible study and sermon preparation. I recently upgraded to 8 and am sorry I did. As a pastor, I enjoyed the Passage Guide and Exegetical Guide tabs automatically opening side by side. It was nice switching back and forth. Such an important, yet simple
