• Re: OT317 - Get chart into transcript?

Sorry for the delay. We should be able to add that image to the transcript resource. I'll get that started. A similar, more stripped down version of the chart can be found in the NAC commentary on Judges (page 132).

  • Re: Faithlife: Requesting Clarity on Compilation Courses

I forgot to respond to this, but we did add notes showing which course each segment is from in the outline for compilation courses. Thanks for the suggestion.

  • Re: Missing designation for Mobile Ed courses

These courses do not have course codes by design. We wanted to differentiate them from traditional Mobile Ed courses because they do not have all the features of our traditional Mobile Ed courses. The Further Investigations into The Unseen Realm courses are meant to be companion courses to Dr. Heiser's books The Unseen Realm and Supernatural . They

  • Re: Mobile Ed: Further Investigations into The Unseen Realm

These courses are meant to be companion courses to the book(s). In them Mike Heiser discusses some of the topics and themes he hits on in his books The Unseen Realm: Recovering the Supernatural Worldview of the Bible and Supernatural: What the Bible Teaches about the Unseen World—And Why It Matters . He approaches them in ways that are distinct

  • Re: New N.T. Wright Courses

The courses were recorded between 2015 and 2018. Just to add to the clip Mark provided, here is a sample clip from the Ephesians courses: https://vimeo.com/202231068 . The clip is taken from a 17-minute segment on Eph 1:1–14. We'll look into getting clips like that one on the product page. Mark, thanks for noting the reference to transcripts

  • New N.T. Wright Courses

We have released four new book study courses by N.T. Wright on Faithlife Courses. We produced these courses in partnership with N.T. Wright Online and The Wisconsin Center for Christian Study so there are some differences from them and original Mobile Ed courses. The videos were filmed by N.T. Wright Online. The courses do not have transcripts or activities

Are you listening to the videos or the audio resource? I just played both and didn't have any of the audio issues you described. Have you experienced this with multiple different segments? If so, which ones?

  • Re: Permissions for Mobile Ed documents
Miles, I purchased a lot of Mobile Ed courses and have downloaded most of the corresponding documents by "following" in the group and downloading the docs and then "un-following" the group. I do this for a couple of reasons: a) the doc is handy when I decide to complete the course b) so that I'm not inundated with email
Can someone from Faithlife comment as to whether there are plans to upgrade these courses for L8, and if so, indicate if the upgrade would primarily consist of procedural adaptions required for L8, thereby likely resulting in a free upgrade ...OR, if the course content would be modified at the same time, requiring owners of

  • Re: TH268 The Doctrine of Grace, by Dr. Jack Cottrell

Some shifts in our priorities have delayed these courses past my initial guess from last year. We're currently working on them, but I would guess they won't be delivered to customers until April or May.

Thanks for catching this. There is a paragraph of text missing. We'll get the resource corrected and updated.

The course plan should be available now. There was an error that was preventing it from uploading that has been resolved now. Sorry for the inconvenience.

  • Re: BUG: Courses Tool Search

It looks like that course did not get the tag added that makes it show up when you click on Judges in the search options in the left sidebar. It does still show up if you type in a search for Judges though. We'll get the tag added.

  • Re: A "Book" study versus an "Exegetical" study

The two categories to have different focuses. Exegetical Study courses have more of a focus on exegeting the original text. They assume a basic understanding of Greek (or Hebrew if/when we do some OT Exegetical courses). The Book Study courses still exegete the text, but they have a more varied approach and (mostly) do not assume the person taking the
I am not competent enough with Logos to take advantage of the Mobil Ed courses.
The Mobile Ed courses don't require any special knowledge of Logos to use. • Re: Size of mobile ed videos

Looks like the videos for that course show take up between 4 and 8 GB. After clicking Download all media the option in the drop down will change to "Cancel media download" until the download is complete. That's the only way to monitor the download status.

  • Re: Size of mobile ed videos

Yes. Open the video resource, and in the drop down menu there is an option to "Download all media." What size/video resolution you download will depend on the internet speed you have available, so I can't tell you exactly how much space they will take up.

  • Re: Size of mobile ed videos

The size depends on what bit rate gets downloaded and cached as you watch them. If you have fast internet, then you will likely get the highest resolution videos and they can be pretty large. I checked out the total size of the video files for some of the examples Jan gave, and they could over twice as large as what he listed. To clear out your downloaded
