• Suggestion - Diagramming Notes

I recently started diagramming for a second level Greek course at my seminary. I really love the Logos Diagramming feature, but there is one area where it seems to be lacking. It would be great if there was some way to create notes on specific words to provide parsing and notes on the functional usage of the particular words in context. Most people

Same issue… I have Logos on Android 9, Android 8, and Android 6 (tablet) and they all experience the same problem. I just figured it was a terrible feature. I mostly keep the feature off because it never works well.
It appears that Logos 8 is a complete rewrite. Therefore it's not that programmers took out working code, but rather that the code for these features has not been written yet.
We do have a case to add various shortcuts to the Notes Tool.
I am still curious as to why this functionality was removed in the 8.3 update. It was working right before that update and now it is not. Was it removed intentionally in 8.3?
Absolutely! They've already discussed adding sorting alphabetically by first line regardless of styles.
That would satisfy my needs perfectly! Like I said, I don't really care about the style (L8 notes does look a lot better than L7 notes), so if I could sort by the first line then I would be very satisfied! [quote
Actually, please don't! Now that I got your ire up, let me explain. 😜I'm actually fine with having note titles, but they should not feel like a disjointed bit of info like the L7 ones did IMO.
I am after the function, not really the form :).
The only problem with it is that it does not want to go away. I have read it like a billion times and it there is no way (that I see) to get rid of it. Still three items in the beautiful little blue ball...
Scratch that... I didn't see "x" in the corner :).

Thank you for the update, there seem to be some good improvements. In other news, a lot of shortcuts in the note editor are now broken. ctrl+. and other similar short-cuts no longer do anything in the notes editor. Phil mentioned that the idea is being tossed around right now regarding a possible future addition of styles that could be user editable
Perhaps if the first line of a note was treated as a note title?
Or perhaps we could just have note titles back? Then we could sort our notebooks by title again? For those notes that contain content created apart from resource anchors?
