There may well be a way to help you deal with your problem and it might be time effective to give them a call.
Thank you for the suggestion. I may try and call them, but the time difference from here in the Philippines makes calling a little difficult to work out. I did email them in the meantime, and they gave me a
Michael, there is a work around, Notes copied from OneNote retain their formatting. Notes copied from Word to OneNote retrain their formatting, so if you go from Word to OneNote to Logos you will retain your formatting. A little kludgey but it works.
Thank you for the suggestion, but it doesn't seem to preserve

  • Preserved Formating when Pasting into Notes from MS Word

I have asked this before and have not been given a definite answer. In L5, L6 and L7 (I don't quite remember if L4 had this functionality) we were able to copy from an MS Word document and paste it into a Logos Note with the formatting being preserved. Formatting is no longer preserved. The issues with Logos Notes is the precise reason that I have not

  • Re: Why are tabs so wide on Logos 8?

I also agree with regards to this issue. another issue I have is with the way that the top sizing works. I have a lot of resources that I have 'pinned' (bookmarked?) to the top of the program for quick access when I need to open up a often used resource. In L7 the home, Library, Search, Docs, Guides and Tools seemed to be smaller. I often put Logos

  • Re: Crash - Workflow
Have you tried requesting just a verse or pericope?
I did try it with smaller pieces and it does seem to work there. Maybe Genesis-Malachi is too big of a piece? I was trying to create a workflow for doing a Biblical Theological study of a topic, focusing on key lemmas in a particular portion of the cannon. First for

  • Crash - Workflow

I decided to try out "workflow", but whenever I try and use the workflow I created the program crashes. I don't know how to attach logs, but here are some screenshots. First I click on Guides to get to my previously created workflow. Then I try and interact with the workflow. Every time I do, it crashes.

  • Re: Outline a Book of the Bible

Glad the example helped :). Recompiling can be tedious, especially if you have a large amount of files in one book. My OT outlines take about 2 minutes to compile. The other thing you have to watch out for is that if you rename your file, or move your files, you will have to delete them from your book and add them all again from scratch. I once switched
Do you know about the Personal Books Tool that can be used to import Word Documents? This is the most versatile option.
I agree. I have full personal outlines on almost every single book of the Bible, and I always keep them in Word documents. Doing them in Word and importing through Personal Books is also advantageous
This is a known issue that they are working on.
Does anyone have a ball park timeframe for when this issue will be fixed? I don't suppose there is another forum where this is being discussed? The longer I have been using it the more I realize the pain this issue is creating for me.
I'm not sure this has ever existed on Android, but I created a case to address it.
You are correct, there has never been an automatic creation of hyperlinks in Android, though that would be great. The problem is that the manual way to create a hyperlink was taken away. It was painful to create a hyperlink in previous
I've just checked on 8.0.2 of the Logos app on iOS and Bible hyperlinks are created automatically. Are you not seeing this? If not, which version of which app on which platform are you using?
I am on Android 8.0.1. Maybe the android app hasn't yet received its full compliment of features? My phone just received

  • Mobile Note Editing - Hyperlink Creating/Editing Removed?

I am not sure how many people use this feature, but when I am creating mobile notes I like to add hyperlinked verse references (If I am doing my devotion on my mobile, or note taking when I don't have my computer). Scripture references in the Desktop version are always automatically hyperlinked (they work even better in the note tool of Logos 8 - Great

I also like the previous font. The new one looks like the old days when I used to load up a plain text book into an mp3 reader. Personally, I don't care much about having multiple fonts to choose from, I just want the old one back. What's that saying... "If it ain't broke, don't fix it".

I am fine with waiting :). Anyway, most of my outlines are already there, I just update them periodically in my MS Word documents and then copy and past them into my Logos Notes. I will just hold off with that for now while they fix it.

  • MS Word formating

Because of the lack of functionality in the note system of previous Logos versions, I have always written my notes in MS Word and then copied them in to my notes in Logos. Specifically with Logos 7 I could copy a full outline into a note document in Logos and the formatting would be preserved. With Logos 8, however, all MS Word formatting is removed
