True, it’s not linked to the text, but the audio works fine now. I've not had a problem with the gospels. There're present and function.

That's my take on it — most readers don’t care about the context. For those of us that do like to see the context and review what we've read the day before, we (1) added multiple extra clicks to our routine and (2) we lost the benefit of the Reading Plan cards on the home page. I cant understand why we can’t get the simple option of directly opening

Success! Reinstalled the app--again. It took two hours to download the 4GB, which was ridiculous, but it worked.

Got it to work on my iPad (latest OS), but it required deleting the entire app and reinstalling. Audio now plays, however it won’t download for offline listening.

Agreed. Another frustration with the new layout is that you can't—as far as I can tell—scroll back to see what came before the day‘s reading. I usually two-finger scroll back and review where I last read and to see my previous highlights to refresh my memory on where I am in the book. Now I have to open the resource separately, which works, but makes
