  • Use print/export on a block of notes

I have a need to export my notes from Gen 1 to an RTF file. It's quite tedious to do that note by note. How do I select a block of notes and export them all at once?

  • Accessing my notes for use in other applications.

It used to be that if I needed to copy some of my notes into another application you had an option in https://documents.logos.com/ for exporting. That option was in the Actions dropdown menu that made it easy. I can't find a way to do that now. How do I export my notes into a useable format that I can view, edit, copy, paste & etc?

  • Re: Exclude emphasis markup in note document listing

Okay, filtering by Type first and then Bible book worked. I think I was using the Bible reference filter and that's what messed it up. Thanks.

Ok, filtering by Type first and then 1 Cor worked. I think I was using the Reference filter and that was what messed it up for me. Thanks for your help.

  • Re: Exclude emphasis markup in note document listing

Thanks! That worked. However, now I can't get it to sort by reference. What I'm after is a window that has only the notes I've taken on the chosen Bible book (in this case 1 Corinthians) all sorted by reference. Could you give me a sequence to follow to accomplish that? Thanks. John

  • Exclude emphasis markup in note document listing

So, I have been going through the notes I have taken (over the years) on 1 Corinthians. The new note system tends to confuse me, but I did finally figure out how to choose only my 1 Corinthians notes and then sort by reference. Trouble is that Logos mixes the Emphasis Markup notes in with my regular notes. This is an annoyance rather than a big problem

  • Re: Exporting a notes document to text or RTF

Never mind. I solved my own problem. In the documents window choose the file you want. In my case that was all my notes on the book of Acts. A window will open with all your notes from that file listed. In the upper right corner click a little 3-dot menu icon and then choose the Print option. (Alternatively, just use ctrl-P.) The dialog box that opens

  • Exporting a notes document to text or RTF

Before all the upgrades, it was an easy thing to export a notes document to text or RTF format. That made it easy to use one's notes in some other application. I can't find a way to do that now. Here's what I've tried: Going to documents.logos.com I chose and selected the document I wanted to export. Expecting there to be an option in a drop down menu

  • Creating links in Logos Android app

It may seem rather strange to some of you, but I use Logos more on my android tablet more than I do on my desktop. Yes, I know the desktop app is incredibly powerful, but this is how it seems to be working for me. That said, I was really disappointed when they eliminated the feature in earlier versions that allowed us to create links in the notes we

  • Swapping between verse-by-verse mode and paragraph mode in Bible text

I pulled up the KJV this morning expecting to be able to read it in verse-by-verse mode. Instead it came up by default in paragraph mode. How do I swap between the two?

  • Re: Copying and pasting from Bible

Well, I'm going to have to do some more experimenting. (I did a lot of that earlier.) What Graham did looks like exactly what I did, but he got the right result. Andrew, I don't think that's what I did, but I'm going to check it out to see. Thanks for your responses, guys.

  • Copying and pasting from Bible

So, I'm still finding changes in Logos 8 that are hard to work with. This morning it's copying and pasting. I'm editing a file in MS Word and need to copy a three word phrase from the HCSB. So, I open up Logos to the reference I need and highlight the phrase. When I right click the selection, Logos 8 automatically highlights the whole verse. Well, fine

  • Changing defaults in Logos 8

I recently upgraded to Logos 8. Lots of changes to get used to and it's a slow process. One major issue with me is that I like the defaults to match, as closely as possible, the settings I normally use. For instance, font size is a biggie. I'm not young anymore and my eyes require larger fonts. The default fonts for notes seems to be 11. I definitely

Jack, tried your link and found one of my documents. The only option it gives me is to "withdraw". Sigh. Do they have a fix or do I have to withdraw and republish? I'm a little miffed, for some reason......

  • Re: "Your publication is out of date" message.

No, sorry, Reuben, but I get the same message whether I'm at documents.logos.com or on my group site on faithlife. I'm given no option to update, period. Obviously they've changed their format. I just want to know how to fix it.

So, when are they going to fix that? That a poor way to design a program meant to be used on today's platforms.

  • Re: Can I place links within note text on Mobile 8?

Just a note to weigh in with Craig's issue. I have relied on being able to insert links when taking or editing a note, so you can't hurry this one up fast enough. Kind of disappointing that you dropped it.

  • Installing across multiple Windows 10 user profiles

I wear many hats so use several different Windows 10 user profiles to keep things separate. Three of those profiles require my installation of Logos 8 to be available. Until recently I was using Logos 7 and was having trouble with accessing Logos from any profile besides my home profile. That was causing me a lot of trouble and wasted time, to I completely
