• Logos Blog down. Logos 9 release imminent?

Perhaps one reason to speculate wildly about the imminent release of Logos 9??
If you look in your 'About Logos' menu item you can see all the licensing details of frameworks used to build Logos. It's a good place to get a feel for how complex a port to apple silicon might be. Apple have been issuing patches to some open source frameworks where necessary, mono being an example. My guess is it will be

  • Re: Sermon Editor on mobile or Web app
Just resurrecting this thread to point out it has almost been another two years with no action in making Sermon Editor more functional on mobile. I'm always needing to add notes here or there once I'm finished on my computer. I could see this being a really useful feature with the ability to click a passage reference and it

  • Re: Upgrade to Logos 8 Full Features or Wait?

Thanks for your response. I think it's possible L9 features will come via seminary upon release. Maybe someone could look at the list of features I currently have and weigh in on if there are features I am missing that they feel are valuable. These are the Logos 8 features I currently have: A Harmony of the Gospels A Harmony of the Synoptic Gospels

  • Upgrade to Logos 8 Full Features or Wait?

Assuming Logos 9 is on the horizon for release sometime time in the next few months, would you suggest taking advantage of upgrading to the Logos 8 Full Features using a discount code or wait for the release of Logos 9? I have a subset of Logos 8 features through my seminary partnership with Logos.

Agreed, Justin. The web app definitely is nice complement to the iPad app. I just wish resource citations could be copied. Would be great if resources could be downloaded locally, too. All that to say... I want a more robust iPad app!

  • Bavinck - The Wonderful Works of God

Would love to see Logos publish Bavinck's The Wonderful Works of God. It has been called " The best single-volume Reformed systematic theology ever produced."

  • Re: What full (desktop) Logos features would you need to see added to the mobile app?
Copy and paste with citations. Being able to create and edit tags on resources. Keyboard shortcuts ( https://community.logos.com/forums/t/184670.aspx ) Parallel resources (or some way to open another commentary to the same passage quickly).
I am with you, Levi. Sermon note editing and PDF exporting is on my list as

+1 for Full Logos on iPad. Apple's continued iPadOS development has demonstrated that the iPad is able to be a true computer replacement. Running the iPhone app on the iPad is dated and insufficient for those who want to do meaningful sermon prep or academic work on the iPad. I can't imagine FaithLife neglecting support for Apple Silicon with how many

Is this still on the radar, Phil? Missing this feature has felt disappointing and been prohibitive in using the web app meaningfully for academic work. Need a solution ASAP.

I'm having the same issues as Phil and John when it comes to doing a bible search such as, "Love AND Joy". It worked the first time I did the search, but hasn't worked since then.
