What you really need are reviews by similarly qualified Greek scholars with an awareness of the latest findings to be able to critique her work. As yet I have not found anything. The most likely source would be journal articles. Either way for her to confidently assert such radical changes to our understanding of the NT

  • Re: The Source New Testament

That was the type of thing I was looking for! I was just surprised that there weren't a lot of reviews on this book, for this to have been out for so long. Thanks!

I had started doing that, but wasn’t really getting much of a “scholarly" review, which is what I wanted.

  • Re: The Source New Testament

And the reason I am asking is because a student in a Bible study that I attend asked me about what I thought of it. As I have tried to do some research, I am not finding anything useful. And I see her tomorrow! So really would appreciate some help!

I am not at all familiar with this. Can anyone give me some information about this book? Or direct me to any reviews? Thanks!

  • Is there a quick way to determine the number of words in a Biblical book?

A friend of mine wanted to know and off the top of my head, I didn't know. But I thought surely there is a quick way to determine this...or even if there is just a way (but not quick)! For example, using the NASB95, how many words are in 1 John? Can anyone help me help my friend? Thanks!
3. I want, no I need, full PDF (with search) integration into logos. The number of academic journals and important materials which are freely available in PDF format is astounding, and this is the final missing piece in logos with regard to academic use. The journals on offer in the logos format are a very limited selection
Fix Maps! The simple ability to double or single click on a place and find the right contextual map and have it zoom in on that place. If I am in Nehemiah 2:11 and click on Jerusalem the atlas should go directly to a map of Jerusalem in Nehemiah's Day. In Nehemiah 2:14 I could further click on Fountain Gate in my NKJV Bible
"My library is spread across Logos, print at home, print at the office, PDFs, etc., and it's difficult for me to remember if I already own a book and, if I do, where to find it. I'd love it if I had a master catalog of my entire library in one place, ideally in Logos, that requires little work to build, maintain,

  • Re: Carta!

Since Logos doesn't have Carta yet, I figured that it would not be against Forum policy to post this. The Biblical Archaeological Society has some great deals here . and many of the resources are from Carta....but they are not ebooks. http://store.bib-arch.org/WAREHOUSE-CLOSEOUT-SALE/departments/77
Anyone have any thoughts on this resource? https://www.logos.com/product/157807/a-history-of-israelite-religion-in-the-old-testament-period-volumes-i-and-ii It is included in the reference collection
My price is about $15 cheaper if I got it in the reference collection!

  • Re: Found Clickable Images!!!
What I really wish is that such images were fully capable of being edited. There are many Faithlife slides that I'd love to use in my teaching, but there full of too much information and cannot be removed, so I can point students to a specific aspect. So for example, make it possible for every stop on Paul's missionary journeys
