  • Re: Help with Undoing a Deleted Highlight....

Sorry guys.... I figured it out. For those in the future that might do the same thing as I did: -- at the bottom of the notebooks list is a trash can. click on that and you have x2 options: Trashed Notes and Trashed Notebooks. My note was in the Trashed notes and I was able to restore it!! :)

  • Help with Undoing a Deleted Highlight....

Hi Folks: Does Logos 8 have any kind of undo? I had a list of 90+ verses added to a note. (with an underline). I decided to highlight a couple of words (that wrere already underlined). Anyways It deleted not only the hightlight, but also the whole note and every verse I had entered!!! I still have Logos 8 open and haven't changed pages or tabs. I really

  • Re: Personal Books not downloaded

Hi NB.Mick: Thanks for responding. The books have all been uploaded when I created them. The problem is that for whatever reason.... some (maybe half?) are not automatically downloading. I had thought that once a book was created and uploaded, that it would automatically download to a new install/computer. There doesn't seem to be a 'pattern' for those

  • Personal Books not downloaded

Hi Folks: I have a new computer. Everything was installed and synced. Today I was creating a couple of Collections and realized a few of my personal books would not show up in the results. I guess (and maybe its always been this way?) that Personal Books don't automatically sync and download? Is there a way to force Logos 8 to download all of them without

  • Re: Question on the Concordance Tool - able to export or copy results?

Hi Dave: I have Logos 8. When I tried to do an export, it would not export anything. The resource is for the NKJV bible. Translators notes subsection. "m" is one of the groups under it (344 verses in the translators section that reference a difference in the majority text vs the received text). Thanks, Matthew

  • Question on the Concordance Tool - able to export or copy results?

Hi Folks: I just wanted to make sure I'm not missing something. I would like to either copy or export some of the results from the concordance tool. When I go to the usualy print/export section it doesn't allow me to. Is there a way to do this? (I am trying to export 344 references from the translators notes for "m" which are 344 verses where the majority

  • Convert Bible Passage List to Notes attached to the Verses?

Hi Folks: I currently have a large bible passage list (about 550 different Bible verses). I am wondering if it is possible to convert this to a Notes file (or something similar?) so that the little note icon will appear across all my Bible versions at the verses specified. I'm hoping for a method that keeps me from having to manually enter them all

  • Re: Adding Notes to Bible Versions Based on Greek Text Differences

Thank you very much Rick and NB.Mick!! I had been keeping several Bible windows open and trying to scan the NKJV to see if there was a textual footnote number but it was a pain. So now I have implemented everything except the Lexham notes. I have a filter put on the NKJV footnotes that really catches my attention so I can still read other Bible versions

  • Adding Notes to Bible Versions Based on Greek Text Differences

Hi Folks: I have two questions I guess: 1. I like the footnotes in the NKJV that gives greek text diferences (if it is M, or NU for instance). I can see those by clicking on the number/link in the NKJV. Is there a way to automatically display that info? 2. Is there a way to always display the footnotes (this info) for the NKJV so I don't have to click

  • Re: Can I do Notes like in Bibleworks?

Thanks for the info Graham. I've been playing with the new notes system today. While I wish there was a way to have Logos automatically create a chapter file for each Bible, this will work for me I believe. Thanks, Matthew

  • Can I do Notes like in Bibleworks?

Hi Folks: I like how it is possible in Bibleworks to take notes on either each verse, or each chapter without having to create a new file each time (done automatically). My question is: with Logos is it possible to have notes set so that I can take notes as I read through say a book in the Bible and have a 'new' note file for each Chapter (or verse

  • How do I log out of Logos 7 Software?

Ok, this is probably a really stupid question and I'm just missing something simple. I'm trying to log out of my wifes version of Logos 7 so that I can log into mine. When I start up Logos it automatically signs into her account. I can't find a log out link after it has started... where should I look? Thanks, Matthew

  • Re: Seminary Notes

I would suggest using either OneNote (as David did) or maybe Evernote. With OneNote (or Evernote... though Premium Evernote costs while OneNote is free) you can really arrange your notes and papers. Papers, handouts, and other things you complete can all be saved. If you link it with a free OneDrive/Microsoft account you can sync it with any other devices

  • Re: How to Create a Note File from a Passage List?

Thank you Dave and Andrew for the help. I'll try Andrew's trick of opening all of them and then adding a note to each.... I recently purchased the Logos 7 teaching materials from Learnlogos.com and there is a lot to learn Matthew

  • How to Create a Note File from a Passage List?

Hi Folks: I have several passage lists that have ALOT of biblical references on them. I am trying to figure out if it is possible to convert or automate the process of creating a note file from a passage list (the idea being that I would then add a specific note to each biblical reference that is brought over from the passage list. I see that Logos

  • Problem finding option to attach note to all instances of a Bible reference

Hi Folks: I'm attempting to attach a note to a Bible reference. I want the note to appear in all Bible version. I read the Logos Wiki on Notes but my popup looks different. (I'm using Logos 7 Basic. I had purchased Logos 6 Silver if that makes any difference). If I highlight a verse and right click it this is what it looks like: (See the attached Screen
