• Re: Change the ESV Pop up to another Bible Version

I believe in order to do that all you need to do is prioritize the NASB95 as your top Bible. To do that, open your library in a tab. At the top right, if you hover over the icons there should be one that says prioritize resources. Then just drag the NASB95 over to the right. After that, it should show up in the pop ups. I think there used to be a setting

  • Re: Logos 9 Wishlist

One thing that I think would be good is the ability to make a visual filter off a syntatical search. For example: I'm learning Hebrew and a common construction is the Cognate Infinitive Absolute. I can easily make a syntax search to find those results, but it would be nice to be able to make that a Visual filter so I can see those results when reading
I should know this but how do I make a Collection using a string of names. I've named my Collection, Second Temple Studies for the "Start with resources matching:" I started with Apocrypha , but then wanted to add "Second Temple" and that depleted my resource list. Do I add a colon, semi-colon or what between my descriptors? mm

  • Re: Hebrew Paradigms - Logos Chart

I know this thread is over a month old. I'm not a Hebrew scholar, but I've read and studied Hebrew independently. So, take my answer with a grain of salt. In my understanding of Hebrew, Hebrew utilizes what are called verbal stems or binyanim. The basic verbal stem is the Qal. The other stems are built by adding certain blocks onto the Qal stem. These

  • Re: Creating a series with LXX and NA28

As far as browsing goes, if you have a complete Bible open and in a link set with your LXX and NA28 Bible, you can browse the complete Bible and your series will follow. The downside of this is that it adds an additional step. Also if the Bible you are using to browse doesn't have some of the LXX books you'll have to ensure your series is in the LXX

I think Francis Andersen's work on The Sentence in Biblical Hebrew would make a great addition to Logos. https://suggestbooks.uservoice.com/forums/308269-book-suggestions/suggestions/38960590-the-sentence-in-biblical-hebrew-by-francis-anderse

  • Re: Bundled Pricing Problem

If you look below the bundle where it lists the resources and their price, you'll see the following blurb: Individual products included in this collection are currently sale priced. Purchasing the individual volumes in this collection may be more cost effective than purchasing the collection itself. So, some of the products are on sale and Faithlife

This may be the wrong thread for this question, but is there any update on if/when BHQ might be available to purchase again for those of us who would like to have it?

  • Re: Please stop pushing NT Wright
The OP called NT Wright a “Wretched” and his teaching heresy — That seems to be the gist of his post. If he wants to vent and use name calling and accuse another person of heresy, then the Biblical way to do it is to go to Wright not to FL or the forums. DAL
Just a note, I don't believe the OP called NT

  • Re: Search within the LouwNida Greek Lexicon

You may not be having success because LouwNida is not morphologically tagged. I just tried with the web app and you should be able to have Louw Nida open in and run a search on all open resources. The search I ran returned that your lemma is at 37.117. 37.117 δέσμιος, ου m; δεσμώτης

I believe if you hold down the Ctrl key and click on multiple books, it should select them all. Then you should be able to assign them all a tag at the same time.

  • Re: Lemma vs. Strongs Number?

You are correct. I was merely responding to the question Lemma vs Strongs number. Yes, the word behind the Strongs number should be the lexical form.

  • Re: Lemma vs. Strongs Number?

The lemma is the lexical form of the word. That means it is how you would look up the word in a lexicon. The Strong's number should be a number, like G1234 or H1234, that would be how you could look up the word in a Strong's Concordance or any other resource that is linked to Strong's numbers.
