• Re: Bug Text Resizing with the Keyboard
I can confirm this behavior. I do note that the keyboard shortcut is NOT listed in the help file, so perhaps support for it has been overlooked(?).
It's a pretty universal shortcut (at least on Mac) so it's good that it works, just hoping this little bug can be easily fixed.
Are you talking about resource text size or notes? I would expect it to change for the first but not second.
Text size on a resource.

  • Bug with Next Tab Keyboard Shortcuts

The next (and previous) tab keyboard shortcut on Mac is not working properly. On Mac Ctrl+Tab (and Shft+Ctrl+Tab) should move to the next (or previous) tab in sequence. On Logos it jumps around from one tab to another. I can't quite tell what the logic is but it seems to be similar to the order the resources were read or opened in. However, expected

  • Bug Text Resizing with the Keyboard

I'm noticing a bug in Logos on the Mac when resizing text size using keyboard shortcuts. I'm on version 8.9.0.0030 When I use Cmd+ and Cmd- to increase and decrease the text size, the text increases or decreases as it should. However when I increase or decrease the text this way and then look at the text slider it has not changed at all. The actual

  • Re: Link Set with Copy Bible Verses Not Working as Expected

If you change the passage in CBV shouldn't it also change other resources in the same link set? I thought it used to work that way.

  • Link Set with Copy Bible Verses Not Working as Expected

I have the Copy Bible Verses tool, a bible, and commentary set all set in link group "A." As I remember you could change the reference for any tool and they would all move together. However, now it works that way if I change the Bible or commentary but when I change copy bible verses the others don't move. I also noticed there is the word "follow" next

  • Re: How to Export Highlights with Citations?
But that is not helpful when you are trying to capture all your reading notes in Logos first and then send them to your writing software in a batch to work on the writing project.
Agreed. This is a strange omission and hopefully will be fixed in a future release.

  • Re: [Feature Request] IPad Keyboard Shortcuts

Please, please :) Here's an initial list: Cmd+G to enter a passage as on desktop. Cmd+L to open the library and select a new book (as on desktop)--should focus on the search entry field so you don’t have to tap the screen to type a book name. Cmd+F to run a search. Keyboard navigation to navigate open books. Something that lets you move left and
I'm only guessing, but my guess would be that you attached highlights to the book and not the reference. Could definitely be wrong.
I'm confused. I'm simply highlighting text in a book. When I look at the highlights in the note tool there is an anchor to the location in the book. However when I export the highlights
In the Filters sidebar, click the appropriate book under Resource .
Any clue if the default sort order is by the location of the highlight in the book or the order in which the highlighting was done?

  • Re: How do I disable the automatic look up box?
The word lookup dialog will only appear if you press a finger on a word and then lift your finger. If you don't lift your finger, you can highlight without the dialog ever appearing.
Thank you!! That solved it.
Under "view settings," turn on "swipe to highlight". You will then press the word and quickly drag the selection. It will highlight automatically.
Changing that option didn't do anything. Once I tap long enough to get a text selection option it automatically opens a definition for the first word. Is there no option

  • How do I disable the automatic look up box?

I'm working through a large book on Logos and highlighting quite a bit. However, every time I press the screen to start text selection I automatically get a pop up window with the definition of the word where I begin my highlight. How can I turn this automatic look up off? It's incredibly annoying. Defining an English word should be an option for sure

  • How to Export Highlights with Citations?

Here's my situation: I'm working through a book and highlighting sections. Then I go to the notes tool and export the highlights for that book to a doc. In the export, I see the highlighted text but no citations which is unhelpful because then I have no idea where in the book that highlight came from without going back to logos and trying to find the
Thanks Dave for that. Also Mike, just for curiosity, how are you getting the "Search this resource Inline" to come up as you have circled? If I hit the Control F, it will bring up the rectangular window on the top right that says in it 'find'. The only other way I'm coming close is by a right click in the window and clicking
You can't vary the context in the Search tool.
Thanks--that's what I thought. This would be a great enhancement-something similar to the way Accordance let's you add context would be amazing.

I'm looking to add "context" to my search results. Instead of only getting the verse that matches the hit, I'm looking to include the verse after and before so I have a bit of context. Is this possible in Logos?
