Lots of reasons why it’s not likely to happen! Just bear in mind that if your new iPad is as good as a computer why haven’t Apple installed their own operating system as used on their computers. There is no file system on IOS to speak of. It’s a game and a half to try and link to any external drive and

  • Is there a way to do a proper citation in the web app?

For example, if I'm reading a commentary on the web app and I want to copy a quote to insert into another document, how do I get a citation? I have the option to copy the selected text but when I paste I only have the text I coped, I do not have any citation information as on the desktop app.

Fully agreed with everyone-I wish we could just use the forums. FL groups is frustrating, unnecessary, and doesn't work as well.

  • Curious about the Future of the Web App

Do I understand the faq correctly that the intention is to bring as much functionality as possible from the desktop app to the web app? I hadn't tried the web app in a long time but it seems like it's coming along. There are a few features that would really help my mobile work flow: Full search ability--seems like some complex searches work but others

  • Is there any way to include the Septuagint as an interlinear?

Basically I'm looking to quickly compare the language choices of the LXX to the English text, but the only way I can figure out how to do it is open an LXX in a separate window but that's still Greek text primary with English interlinear available. Is there a way to make the English text primary but have the LXX as an interlinear instead of the Hebrew
This is a long-standing issue to do with tagging - the search function is behaving correctly!
So how does one run a search to find every time an angel speaks in the NT or is that impossible?

  • BUG: Search for {Speaker } not finding all occurrences

I was looking for every occurrence of an angel speaking in the NT so I used the above search and immediately noticed there are a number of passages missing. For example, Gabriel's announcement of Jesus' and John the Baptist's births, the Angels at the ascension in Acts 1, the angel in Peter's jail cell in Acts 12, etc.

  • Best way to open a regularly used guide with a keyboard shortcut?

Is there any built in way to launch a guide in logos via the keyboard? So far the best way I've found is to add it to favorites and use Cmd+1, etc if I can remember which ones are which. However, is there any other way to select and open a. guide via the keyboard?

Just to clarify--it appears the "within word" search only searches a verse. For example, using this search I find results that appear valid, however Lord is clearly within 100 words but appears in a different verse. Is there a way to sell it to search across verses words? I'm a big confused on how to run this search. I'm trying to run two searches. One for passages where Jesus, Christ, and Lord appear within a certain number of words of each other. A second for passages were Jesus and Christ appear within a certain number of words but Lord is not within a certain number of words. I started with the second search first
In the absence of this - if you have a Bible and Commentary synched, then changing the Bible reference to another book will cause the commentary to update to the relevant commentary (if any) in the series
I prefer search across commentary but how do you sync bible and a commentary? I thought of two more: When you copy/paste from a resource like a commentary we really need the proper citation. When reading a commentary it would also be nice to be able to put in a reference and automatically switch to another commentary in the series like you can on Mac. For example, if you are reading a commentary on John you can put a reference
