I've ordered a mobile hotspot from Verizon ($20 a month), and I'll see how it works on Sunday. I've wished for this kind of connectivity for many a long year, ever since I started using Keynote when it was first released.
The hotspot worked beautifully. In fact, it worked so well that we were able to live-stream

  • Suggested change to anchor function in notes

I've already created a Feedback entry on this, at https://feedback.faithlife.com/boards/logos-desktop-app/posts/please-adjust-anchor-display-in-notes Two things about this. First, anchors are general fairly brief, right? A Bible reference doesn't take much room. But in Notes, Anchors are on separate lines. They could be placed in a "paragraph" format

Gregory, when is your supposed to arrive? Mine says that it will arrive tomorrow on the 16th, I wonder if it really will or if UPS will have to hold it since I think Apple said the 17th or 18th was the release date
The tracking says tomorrow, the 16th, but it hasn't left Alaska yet.

  • Re: Observation on Silicon Macs

Just an update as of 8:26 central time - Logos is still downloading (I've got close to 40 gigs of data). I confess that I interrupted it at one point, thinking I could just transfer everything in Target Mode. Well, there IS no Target Mode for the M1 Macs; it's "Mac Sharing" instead, and it's accessed in Recovery Mode. It would get about a third of the
Air base model is enough! Thank you for your kind answer. I will also inform the Logos community in Korea :D
Just to be clear, I have the $1,249 model, not the $999 model, but I assume that the $999 would function almost as well. The only difference is that the GPU on the lower model is 7-Core, and the next model

Just FYI, the MacBook Air won't run two external monitors off of Thunderbolt. I have a 30" ViewSonic and a 42" ViewSonic. The 42" is my primary monitor. The 30" is for music (hanging above my piano) and is normally off. When I turned it on, the 42" lost the signal, and the 30" became the external monitor.

The "gender accurate" statement caught my eye, and I wondered how the NASB 2020 would handle the difference between God's love for His born-again people, reflected in the phrase "children of God" (John 1:12, 11:52; Romans 8:16, 21; 9:8; Philippians 2:15; First John 3:1, 10; 5:2) and all Christians being granted the full right of inheritance in Jesus
The 8GB Ram, 512 SSD.
I agree. I did some memory tests ( https://community.logos.com/forums/t/196476.aspx?PageIndex=1 ) and the 8GB M1 handles things just fine. I prefer the 528GB or 256GB, but I chose not to expand further, since my MacBook Air will be a limited use machine for Logos and Proclaim only, and Photoshop

  • Re: Apple Silicon & use of "Scan Method"
It's a command to import the resources from a previous Logos installation or backup so you don't need to redownload all your resources again. Type scan <path to Resources folder> in the Command Bar See here: https://wiki.logos.com/Quick_Installation_onto_Multiple_Macs
Well then, you learn something every day

First, if I buy MBA with 1 TB SSD, must I buy 8 GB unified memory OR 16 GB unified memory? The difference is $ 200. In other words, how much RAM do I need with 1 TB SSD? Knowing that I mostly
Thanks Gregory, that video is really helpful as is the discussion in the forum. 8GB might be enough to do what I need it to, I might spend the extra money on the SSD space instead. • There is no way to create custom slide groups in the Sermon Builder. • There is no way to import custom slide groups from Proclaim. • Sermon slides that are transferred to Proclaim cannot be easily changed to another temple (only Bible slides properly convert in Proclaim, in my experience; any others, custom or not, must be manually
