• Deleting Sermons in the Sermon Manager

I was just adding a bunch of sermons with a CSV file – thanks for making that possible! Anyway, I had several to delete, so I selected them and pressed the Backspace button, and – whoosh! – they were gone. Then it struck me that it would be REALLY nice (and a much better UI) to have a confirmation for deleting sermons. Select All would
Yes, thank you.
Great. My MacBook has a trackpad, although I use a scroll ball when I'm at my desk. Maybe Logos IS detecting a "drag" within the click at times.

Last November I did a lengthy comparison of a max-out MacBook Pro 16" (2020 model), and a MacBook Air with the M1 chip. You can

I think I've experienced what you're describing. On my end, clicking on a result in a Bible search pane will sometimes open a new Bible pane, splitting the Search panel, instead of sending the result to the open Bible panel. I've created the effect below; the first picture is normal, the second is the 'Logos Effect'. Is this what you mean?
Hey Gregory! Are you using the Stream Deck; how's it going? Blessings.
Yes and no . . . for our church live-stream, we've found it's much more efficient to use an iPad running the StreamDeck app. That way it's wireless. When I live-stream from my office (who knows what the future holds) I use the StreamDeck itself

  • Re: continuous notes
Is it possible to have one continuous note instead of creating a note book with multiple notes inside? something like a word document with multiple references all in one place.
I should have been clearer in my answer. You CAN make a single note as long as you like. You CAN'T use right-click to append to the end

  • Re: Okay has anyone seen this search option??

That's interesting; I don't have a "Show whole verses" option when I'm in grid view. I'm on a Mac, and using Logos Bible Software 9.3 Beta 2 9.3.0.0021

  • Re: continuous notes

Short answer: no. A note must be inside a Notebook. Longer answer: yes, but you'll have to manually update a single note within a Notebook by copying and pasting. Any use of "Create a note" will create a NEW note inside the specified Notebook.

  • Re: Bible word study: How do you choose which words are worth studying?
Do you have a method for choosing which words in a passage are worth studying? Not all words are worth studying. It occurs to me if you compare translations and the translations don't agree on how to translate a word, then that would be a word worth studying. But what other criteria would you have for selecting a word in a passage
Hey, Greg. I was just clicking the library icon next to the home icon. I tried what you suggested with dragging the library down into a panel. I got the same issue. I open the "series" filter. I click "more" 3x to get to, say, Pillar. I click on Pillar. Now I want to get back and start looking at the Series right where I left
The problem with the library is logos problem not a Mac mini issue. When I click on Library > Series > and then "more" a couple times > then click on a series like Pillar which is far down this and then I go back to the list of series Logos collapses the list and I have to click "more" again and again to get back to
This has been "in the works" for a while... has anyone figured out how to install custom sermon backgrounds in Logos 9? • Re: Sermon Builder - Part Bible verses.

I agree. You can edit the text by right-clicking on the slide, and then present just the words you want, but it leaves the entire verse in your manuscript (without allowing any formatting), so that's just a partial fix.
