/REB - my second standard for study
Do you think the British English to be any kind of hindrance for American readers? I don't have any experience with this translation, but was interested in a translation that uses a higher level of English.

Hi Dan, sorry it is not available on mobile devices. You can see that on the product page, as there isn't an iPhone symbol. I have no idea if it will ever be available.

  • Re: Multiple Commentaries Open for Passage Search

One option that hasn't been mentioned is that you can create a new folder in the Favorites tool and then drag the commentaries you are interested in (or Bible dictionaries, etc.) into the folder from the Library. Then let's just say you have a layout with nothing open but your Bible and the Favorites tool. (In windows) You hold down the Ctrl button

  • Re: Collections on iPad

I was unaware that our collections were now syncing either. It is a huge improvement in the usability of the Logos Bible app. I found I could do a Bible Word Study and select and copy the lemma and then go to search and do a basic search, select my Greek lexicon collection and paste the lemma into the search window and have access to all my lexicons

Good tip! I usually just drag the search from the left side of the right click popup, but if you know where it is going to land this is easier.

  • Re: KJV with Strong's

The Logos Bible app is not really designed to go directly from your Bible to Strong's. It is designed to access your Bible Word Study from your Bible, but you must use a translation that has the reverse interlinear. In this case it is the KJV 1900 which has a reverse interlinear. The interlinear function, however is not visible in this particular resource

I learned that one can get at least an approximation from Microsoft Word. Paste a section of the Bible or any book into Word. Click on File and then Options and then Proofing. Under Proofing, click on Show readability statistics. Then back on the main page, click on Review and then on Spelling and Grammar. After going through the spell check process

At the risk of sounding like the red-headed kid who walks up late to the conversation and blurts out the obvious, is it correct to make the following assumptions about these two resources? They are written by accomplished scholars who for the most part are practicing Jews and non of whom are Christian by traditional definition and which resources would

Sure, click in the resource menu (upper left corner) and there is an option to print/export to Word. Then you can add milestones if you like to make it scroll with your Bible.

  • Lexham English Bible language grade level?

Does anyone know if the Lexham English Bible has been evaluated for the approximate grade level of vocabulary and/or reading difficulty? The trend has been to keep lowering the level of education necessary to read the newest translations and I was just curious. I have noticed some theological terms that were included, but haven't really used it enough
