• Re: Your input needed: Faithlife Study Bible

In the mobile app I would like to see the ability to turn off personal notes in the Bible and leave them on in the study Bible. That way all the notes are located in the study Bible section and the Bible is less cluttered for reading. I haven't read through this thread to see if this was already mentioned, but I believe it would be an improvement. Thanks

  • Re: Scroll Screen to New Selected Verse?

Hi Scott, If you have None selected for columns in your Bible resource menu, you can use the main command box to to this, that is to type in a reference. But not within the Bible pane itself, as far as I know. I suppose most people are content to scroll with their mouse wheel or on a laptop with the side of the touch pad. Edit: Sorry, I learned something

If you are talking about the Faithlife Study Bible on your desktop/laptop, then it will follow whatever you have as a preferred/prioritized Bible translation. If you are talking about the Faithlife Study Bible app as on a iPad for example, then when you are in the read mode tap on the double rectangular box at the upper left and then swipe the dark

  • Syncing Resources with a Bible Index

In the Logos Bible app on iPad if you have a Bible and commentary side by side, you can turn syncing off and then scroll through the Bible and at a later time simply tap on the line that divides them and they will sync. Or if you give the focus to the commentary, the Bible will sync to it. I would certainly expect the desktop version of Logos to be

  • Re: Language dictionaries w/ particular info?

The ideal, I think, would be to use the insight we receive from the original languages to aid us in accurately understanding the text, but then communicating that understanding with as little direct reference to the original languages as possible. Of course in a academic setting the reverse is more true. Those that continually hear, "the Hebrew or Greek
Jerry, Thanks. How do I just have the biblical text without the lemma and information under each word. I know how to do this on my laptop but not my iPad.
Sorry it took me so long to get back to you. The format of the NA27 Interlinear on the iPad app cannot be changed as far as I know. It is what it is.

If you use the NA27 interlinear it has the popup links to the Louw-Nida definitions. If every word was a hyperlink in the other NA27 text how would you access the lookup feature?
