• Re: font size in Text Comparison

I don't have a Mac, but I assume a work around you might be able to use is to keep a version of program settings on your shortcut bar that has an increase on the font size or program scaling and another shortcut with the normal view. Then just click back and forth between larger and smaller font.

Hi David, If you click on the question mark in the upper right of your Logos screen, there in the drop down menu is a selection called report a problem. Click on it and it will link you to a page with instructions.

The Foundations of Christian Doctrine A Practical Guide to Christian Belief by Kevin J. Conner. Published by City Bible Publishing. It is fairly basic with a broad appeal. It gives abundant scriptural references and comes from a conservative perspective. I'm sure others have more suggestions. God bless your adventure!

  • Re: Tozer Collection

I think it would be nice considering the issues brought up by this thread, if Logos ran an ongoing sale on spotlighted resources that have been published for a while. They could call the sale something like Prepub 2, and offer the resources for a short period of time at prepub prices. Obviously you could get this resources immediately, rather than have

I have never done it, but I suppose you could take a screen shot of your layout and email it to them, perhaps as an attachment.

  • Re: Anyway to turn off the tooltip?
why not make it optional?
If you have your information tool open and set in the click mode, it will not show anything when you click on any NAS word that produces a popup. Instead it will open the WSNT DICT. The i nformation tool works fine if you have it hover mode. I think it would be handy to have this as an option

  • Re: Controlling the window where books from the Library open in

Yes, notes or any file will open on the left or upper left, better yet, if given a choice. Tools from the drop down menu, if on the left will open on the left, if on the right, will open on the right and Biblical people, places and things will open in a floating window. At least that has been my experience.

  • Re: Controlling the window where books from the Library open in

If you have several panes on your layout and you use the library in the drop down mode, Logos will assign whatever resource you open to a pane with the same type classification in the library, if one is there. What I mean by types is what you see if you open your library and click type on the heading. If you have your library in a tab it will open the

  • Re: Gestures! Wooo hooo!

When using Logos on a laptop or any small display, screen real estate is at a premium. What I like about gestures is that it reduces the need for the locator bar. ( I run program scaling at 80-90% for the same reason.)

Good morning Thomas, would the line interfere with other right clicking uses? I don't know programming, just asking. If not, it would be helpful to see if you approximated the pattern to get the gesture. For example, when we go into the draw mode, the display "freezes" which I guess is why we can't save our drawing like a highlight.

I must be easily amused, because the new gestures in 4.1 Beta 8 make me giddy. (see the release notes for more info).

Something I noticed is that you can make Logos crash. If you turn off your note file with the visual filter drop down menu and immediately right click on a scripture passage and select the note file you just turned off, Logos will crash, if it is still in the process of turning off that note file. Likewise, I scrolled rapidly, and before the computer

Another work around is to drag your collection into a folder in your favorites tool and right click on the folder and select "open all in a floating window".

This isn't for everyone, but if you have an interest in systematic theology... In my favorites tool I created a series of folders named with the categories of doctrines and nested them into one folder named systematic theology. I had previously created a collection of all my systematic doctrine resources(per Mark Barnes' videos). I then did a series
