• Re: Bug: Searching Collections with Mytag

Is this a known issue? Now that I know this it makes the Text Comparison tool usable. I had created collections of literal, dynamic and free translations, which I couldn't use before because they were based on a mytag rule.

Hi Mark, welcome to the forum. In the library mode tap Sort by Recent to see resources recently used. Those downloaded will have a darker information symbol, (i). The only way that I know to see all the resources downloaded is to go into airplane mode. (If you pull down on the list it will tell you how many are downloaded.) This function has been repeatedly

  • Bug: Searching Collections with Mytag

I wondered why when I searched a collection I was getting search results from books not in that collection. What I found out was that if my collection was based on books added to the +Plus these resources section, then the search worked fine, but if I was using a collection based on library Mytags, it didn't work right. I don't know if this was noted
Jerry - No offense, but your question is like asking if Coke could have a link to Pepsi.
If you own the Coke and the Pepsi, it would be more like cherry coke and pineapple pepsi, which is not too bad by the way. No offense taken. Note that I did say "occasionally". I would think it an over statement to say the ESVSB

  • Links to study Bibles?

As far as I could tell there aren't any links to study Bibles in the FSB. I would guess that is by design, however wouldn't links to other study Bibles such as the ESV Study Bible occasionally be helpful?

Or you can open two copies of Jone's and set one to "search" in the NA27 and the other in the LXX and link them.

  • Re: Old Testament LXX in the NT

You can also select "send hyperlinks here" in the resource menu of the LXX and NA27 and then put them in one pane. Then whatever reference you click on in Jone's will open in that pane in Greek. Even if you have LXX and NA27 side by side, having them set as send hyperlinks here allows you to just click on a reference to activate the link set rather

  • Re: Priority of Bible commentaries?

I prioritized my favorite commentaries and even put a few right below my preferred Bible translation so that they would show up on a right click. Then I created collections of commentaries according to the type that they were and then created a custom passage guide with those categories. Now I can right click on a passage, select my commentary guide

  • Re: The NA28 is coming, the NA28 is coming

Editio Critica Maior (ECM) is a critical edition of the Greek New Testament being produced by the Institut für neutestamentliche Textforschung (Eng. "Institute for New Testament Textual Research"). It is a work (in progress) in multiple volumes, and is intended to cite a more complete list of variant readings than can be incorporated in a manual edition

  • Re: lying dreams?

My sheep know My voice. You discern the voice of God in dreams the same way you discern His voice in Bible reading or prophetically. You know Him so you know when it is He that is speaking. His presence accompanies His voice. God also gives the understanding of the message the dream contains, which is many times symbolic. God through the prophet Joel

  • Re: Now the first three EEC commentaries are available individually

So if you buy all the volumes individually: At prepub prices it will come out a little over $1500 and at retail will be about $2000. These are conservative figures and actual prices will probably be more. Sounds like those that want all of them and got in initially got a real bargain and if they only wanted half of them, got the others free. If you

  • Re: Accessing TDNT entries from DBL

Yes it is probably a prioritization issue, but it should work if TDNT is high enough in the prioritization list, even without advanced prioritization. Mark, you probably set the priority limits because in some cases the link will even take you to the Enhanced Strong Lexicon even though the popup shows TDNT.
