• Re: How to report a word error

Ok, just got off with Tech Support. I think MJ.Smith, you've hit it. When I right clicked on a word in a commentary, e.g. 1st Corinthians 4, I had "Reference 1 Corinthians 4:1-21" highlighted. I was told to select "Selection" right at the top of the list and now, all is well. Does this make sense? I might add, the 'commentary' so called where it seemed

I'll try restarting it. I'm finding the problem when I right click on a word in a commentary.

  • How to report a word error

I see a word error in a commentary. If I right click on the word, it highlights at least a whole paragraph or more. How do I get it to highlight just the one word then get to the 'report error'?

Ok, I just happen to notice the little 'pencil' icon beside the title. Changed the title from there. Obviously I was looking to hard prior to posting.

Done that Dave but still no option to rename. Is there something else you had in mind?

I had just that Graham but deleted the initial one. So the only one showing is the "Read KJM in one year (s)" ...

Help me out with this if you will. I've just created a new reading plan for the year. When I click on Docs, I see it listed as "Read KJV in one year (2)." I want to get rid of the (2) at the end but see no where how to rename it. Embarrass me please by showing how to do rename it to " Read KJV in one year ." Thanks.

I've not a clue as to why that is Warren. I'm surprised more than one of the experts hasn't jumped in on this.

  • Close All disappeared

I've had "Close All" on the top bar to the right of Docs / Guides / Tools and now it's vamoosed. I've tried to find it under the tool section but don't see it anywhere. Is this because of a change in the program or is there a way to get that back up there which I'm forgetting to do.

  • Re: Passage Guide

That snag was fixed over a year ago with the following instructions ... :-) First of all I right mouse click on any of he sections and collapse all. This way the PG opens with all sections closed. There are a few sections that are still slow such as Bible Places, Topics, etc. I do not want these populating until and unless I want to use them. So, yes

Ok Scott, thanks for that. But does not the " set use ngen to yes" do the same trick for Logos?

Thanks Graham. I totally missed that thread & obviously there's a lot of reading. Just a quick question: Do I understand correctly that the line " set use ngen to yes" has to be inserted each time there is an update to Logos or has that changed since back then?

set use ngen to yes
Wow... this really gave Logos a boost -- thanks for this great tip!
I find it strange only two have mentioned this and not a comeback on it. My question is, what does this setting do and if it actually speeds things up, why?
