If you are a pastor and are evangelical and conservative in theology, then you will definitely appreciate NIC much more. There are many authors in WBC who do not hold to the same view of biblical inerrancy as you (as they are considered liberal). In general the NIC is also better rated than the WBC series.

Yes, same here. If the individual volumes go on sale, I will be making many purchases.
-
Agreed. I love logos, but I am really sick of the push for NT Wright. There are a lot more other authors that should be promoted or highlighted.
-
Yes, please please have sales for individual volumes!

Hey Rick A. I want to suggest to you Chapter 7 of "CONTINUITY AND DISCONTINUITY PERSPECTIVES ON THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE OLD AND NEW TESTAMENTS" https://www.logos.com/product/2915/continuity-and-discontinuity Chapter 7 of this book is titled "THE BIBLICAL METHOD OF SALVATION: A Case for Discontinuity" written by Allen P. Ross, Dallas Theological

Did Logos really expect anyone to buy anything during week 2's "deals"?
-
Thank you for always letting us know about the sales. It's very helpful!
-
Well, it's your loss Logos, you could have gotten $100+ off of me.
-
Is this a sale that is about to go live soon or is it a special sale just for particular users? I don't see the discount yet.
-
" Wright was popular and well respected (signs of a true heretic)" - AGREED I don't understand why people like N.T. Wright when he is N.T. Wrong (New Testament Wrong)
-
Hey CharlyG, I agreed with you wholeheartedly that NT Wright's teachings on Paul and Penal Substitution are false doctrines and it makes me cringe whenever I see his books promoted. What you also need to understand, however, is that as much as we love to use Logos, its priority is not to necessarily guard sound doctrine. It is a business and its goal

Hey Jerry, Like Doc B said, it depends on how you read and use Scripture. If you are one who believes in the inerrancy of God's Word, then WBC might not be the best of use to you, because while some authors in the series do believe in inerrancy, it is quite clear that some of the authors are of the more liberal camp and do not hold strongly to inerrancy

I don't understand how this was a good idea. It's actually discouraging me to browse through any searches because of the countless irrelevant results that come up. I really think most logos users don't care much for non-logos products and those that do would have gone to the faithlife site to check those items out. Now we are given countless irrelevant

Hey Paul, I am one of those Allen P Ross fans. Thanks of letting me know. This book is probably better in explaining the meaning of Malachi than almost the entire Malachi package on March Madness right now haha
-
Yes, I agree - Dark Mode. I don't understand why Logos on the computer does not have Dark mode when the mobile form does. I can't see how it could be too difficult to add dark mode for the users. We need it because sometimes we use the program for hours. Please add Dark Mode.

Thanks so much for your answer!!!!

Hi all and Logos Staff, I am wondering if there is a Logos 8 Basic that is like the Logos 7 Basic, in which you download the app and just build your own library. I have Logos 7 Basic because I wanted a library only of commentaries of my own choosing. I don't want to spend $200+ for Logos 8 starter because it doesn't have any books that I need, yet I

I also got Allen Ross' 3rd Psalms Volume with the coupon!!!

Hey Logos, I am very glad that the color for the Background in Logos can be changed to Dark Gray. It is a lot more comfortable for my eyes as I read for hours. But is it possible for Logos to have a Black Theme in which the background is Black (or Very dark) and the words become white (or light Gray)? This is available for the mobile app, but can you

Yes, let's get this set of commentaries published. They are commentaries that are faithful to God's Word.
