That same menu gives you a Print / Export option which enables you to save the results to a Word document
Thanks Graham. I missed the Export option.

  • Re: Construct search of "Truly, I say ..."?

Hi Graham. Is there a way to export the results-list to Word or something like that? I did manage to save it as a Passage list but I need to take it to something else so I can make a list on such a document. I hope you understand what I mean.

Hi Graham. Thank you very much. With the English search I got 72 results. Will check which ones are extra compared with the Greek. Thank you once again. Deon

  • Construct search of "Truly, I say ..."?
before you get too deep into this project, I recall another Forum user compiling a similar sheet about 3 months ago, considering which guides lead to which information. If I'm not wrong, I believer it was MJ . You may want to search for posts about a " Guide to Guides " or something similar. As I recall it had 4 different
Someone else may offer a better Rule. I believe this Rule captures all existing Dataset Documentations.
I think we have a small misunderstanding of what I meant. Please see my attached screen-shot. What I meant was to have a piece of paper with some short-cuts. I do this in Excell as I go on studying the different data

  • Cheat sheet? (maybe it's the wrong word to use here.)

Hi all. I have started to study all dataset documentation to start learning how it works. I must say that the amount of information is overwhelming. I soon discovered that one of my biggest challenges will be to remember how & where each of them can be accessed. I know and appreciate the fact that most of them are available in the context menu when
There is a manual
Thanks, this I have studied. I was just wondering if there is a list of all the senses available.

  • Re: Command and Speaker in search string: is this correct?
This looks like a good approach to me
Ok, thank you Graham. Last question, at least for now: Is there a list available of the " Sense Bible Lexicon Dataset "? Or, is the only way to access it is by typing: <Sense ownword and start typing something you want to check?

  • Command and Speaker in search string: is this correct?

Hi all and thank you for your help. I am studying all Documentation of the different Data Sets. I noticed that there is not an example in the "Commands in the Bible Dataset documentation" on the person who gives the command. I put this together from what I have learned in earlier documentation: {Label Command WHERE Type ~ Invitation} INTERSECTS {Speaker

  • Re: With what is: Search "this resource" replaced in Logos 8?

Thank you Graham. I battled as I could not consistently find the same results as the tutor. Will then first try Basic before the rest.

  • With what is: Search "this resource" replaced in Logos 8?

Hi. I'm currently running through Logos 7 video tutorials I bought. Many times the author right-click on a word and selects: "this resource" to search for something. (See attached screenshot.) With what wording was it replaced in Logos 8? Thanks, Deon.
Dots in this type of context indicate that the underlying original language term has not been translated. Looking at the reverse interlinear for Zech 8 you can see that the word for "fast" actually appears for each month but is only translated once. Because that is the term you are searching for it appears in the results
So an interesting search is (<Lemma = lbs/he/צום>, <Lemma = lbs/he/צוֹם>) INTERSECTS {Speaker <Person God>} - where I am using two different lemmas used for fasting which gives some useful results
Thank you very much, Graham. I missed the search of the ROOT, but I have a great teacher, I expanded

  • Re: Please help me with my search string
The problem is with the double quotation mark after the first search term. If you remove it you get the results I think you are expecting. (And I don't know why that mark has that particular affect!) Thank you. I need to focus. That's an interesting idea - but when I tried a Clause Search with subject:god verb-lemma:צום

    I forgot to paste the string. <Lemma = lbs/he/צום>", <Sense fast (religious)>, <Lemma = lbs/el/νηστεία>, {Section <Culture Fasting>} Thanks.

  • Please help me with my search string

Hi. I'm busy putting a search together off Bible text relating to fasting. Each separate component of the search produces results. But, when putting them all together, there are no NT results. I know it has something to do with brackets, {} or () but not sure where. Please advise, if you don't mind, telling me what's wrong and why. Thanks a million
