Hi there, We'd like to learn more about your use case. I'll send you a Faithlife private message.
-
Hi there, I was able to update the skill settings and make it available for devices that have their language set to English U.K. Enjoy :) Dustin

Did you try choosing "less"? Also, if any of the sliders are set to daily, you may still get a digest.
-
Also, if you ever customized your notifications in the past, you can hit Reset to remove any per-group overrides.
-
On this page, https://faithlife.com/account/edit/notifications There is a dropdown at the top of the page that probably says "Balanced". Click that, and choose "Less" if you don't want any digests except for groups you moderate.
-
Hi there, can you forward me the email you were getting? There should be a link at the bottom that allows you to change your preferences. My email is dustin (dot) masters (at) faithlife

Hey Lynden, We actually had to change how connecting with open groups works because it was getting abused by spammers. You can now only follow open groups, but a moderator can promote you to being a member after you follow. Alternatively the group can be a closed group, and a mod can approve your membership. This is because co-members groups have special

Hi John, Sorry to hear the new settings don't work for your needs. We made the change so it's easier to customize what you want on a per-group level. E.g. if you're a mod of a small group, you can now get push notifications right away, and a daily digest for everything else. You can also opt out of noisy groups by going to that group, going to notification

Hi Graham, Sorry for the trouble - there was a misconfiguration on one of our testing groups. We have corrected the error, no more bulletins should be published from that group Dustin

Hi Graham, I'd recommend using the new "Prayer" button at the top of the feed. We're looking at ways to better integrate prayer lists from Logos into the feed, but the Prayer post is the best way today to raise awareness of prayer requests on Faithlife (an email is generated as well for all those in the group)

Hi there, We have a few plugins that might help out here. https://faithlife.com/plugins/joingroup - Show a 'Follow' button so people can join your group https://soundfaith.com/accountsettings - Click on your group and click Share, you'll get an embed code We're looking at building out some other plugins to make integration easier as well.
-
Would you mind taking a screenshot when you get the error? We'd like to fix the bug you ran into.
-
Sorry for the late reply. You should be able to edit events by clicking on the title in the list. The events are saved as UTC and then rendered in your local timezone, which would explain why the times shifted when daylight savings time happened. I'll see what we can do to improve this for the future.
-
Hi Pastor Roger, That sounds like a bug, we will take a look.
-
If you click outside the tagline edit box, a green checkmark should display to the left, indicating the save was successful. Does that appear for you?
-
We'll look into this bug.
-
We don't have UI for this yet. I'll send you a Faithlife private message containing the names of everyone who received your newsletter successfully.
-
Underneath each post should be a timestamp. If you click on the timestamp, you should be taken to a view that shows just that post. What is the URL on that page?
-
Yes, pinning places a post at the top of the group feed. Do you get an error when you try to pin a post?
-
When a newsletter is published, everyone in the group will get a copy of the newsletter in their email inbox. That number indicates how many successful deliveries there were.
