I have diverted to regular reading using "Chronological Bible" Reading. Especially in the OT I question if the order presented is correct? Who chose the order? It seems to me that a "Parallel" order would be more accurate? How many choices are there? Are some deemed more correct chronologically?

  • Notes, Notes or more Notes or Note books or BINDER

I have said it years ago. In the computer world detail is BOSS. For your older not so tech savvy generation or home base the words "NOTE" and "NOTEBOOK" leave a lot to be desired. I think I see and hear confusion of the intention when our people talk about this process. Everyone in the world knows what a "BINDER" is. 3 ring, or 4 ring dada. PLEASE change

  • Re: NOTEBOOKS Print

I don't understand then why one would build a SS Lesson in NOTEBOOKS if you can't print out 15 copies for your class to take home? I would like to print out hard copy of a NOTEBOOK. That seems pretty convoluted too.

  • NOTEBOOKS Print

It seems quite a chore to print out a whole "NOTEBOOK".

So I see 2 different terms. NOTE and NOTE BOOK. Are those 2 different tools? I don't think so. Then LOGOS should not use them interchangeably. .

  • Re: Bible Study

Thanks guys. I have hundreds of "Notes" over the years. I used that tool to add NOTES to my Bible pages like I would by writing in the margin of my Bible. I have looked at 4 videos on NOTES, and am trying to get my head around expanding it's usefulness. I never have liked the term "NOTES". My old head has habitually wanted a WORD processor when I build

  • Bible Study

This my first step toward using Logos for something NEW. I am NOT making a sermon. I just want to collect notes and information re 1 passage or chapter in Ephesian's. Do I do that all in MS Word? Or use a tool in Logos?

  • Sync slower

Seems to me that syncing devices has gotten harder and less dependable than it used to be. I have Logos on my LapTop (W10), my S8 dumb phone, and my newest Samsung tablet. I do my daily reeding on one or the other. Sometimes not Opening Logos and 2 for days doing my reading on one or the other. The "SYNC" button often doesn't update until numerous tries

  • Share Lists or notes

I see how I can export my lists to hard copy. Is it possible to send a Passage List in a file format than the receiver can import into his Logos program.

  • Re: Note Anchors

Thanks OK I've never used "Anchors" cause it was doing what I wanted. What you don't know won't hurt you. At 73 I don't explore much. If it's working don't mess with it. So now I see "Add Anchor" and 2 choices. 1) Active Reference - what's that? What criteria chose that suggestion, 2) Reference - I'm guessing I can enter my own. What am I creating my

Sorry I didn't explain myself. At 70+ it needs to be simple. So I was trying to make Card on the home page or a Layout, or something simple. Probably cant be done. Thanks

  • 2 Readers

I of course have my own reading lists on my Laptop, Android, and iPad in my preferred Bible. My wife would like to occasionally read scripture in her favorite translation on my iPad. But not a systematic reading. Just pick a passage and read. How can I best facilitate her?
