• Re: Logos Tech Tip: "Every Search Tells a Story" question
Our team accidentally included a screenshot from an internal build that hasn't yet been shipped to customers. We're sorry about that. This line graph will likely be included in an upcoming release later this year.
later this year, huh? 🤔

  • Export sermon editor slides -- HELP!!

My Sermon Editor slides are finished and ready to export, but I cannot successfully export them to PowerPoint. Text to Microsoft Word works fine, but not the slides to PowerPoint. Am I alone with this issue? Or is there a trick? For reference, I'm running Logos and PowerPoint on a Mac.
What improvements should we make to existing features?
Text Comparison Tool - move % difference indicator towards the front, in between the translation abbreviation and begging of the verse. This should improve “scanability”. Often times I’m looking for versions that are drastically different

To add more fuel to the fire, doesn’t it seem like there are more across the board discounts happening right now? has the feel of a store trying to push last seasons merch before the new stuff arrives
Not sure how offering a discount for folks who help market is a bad thing, but if it is not your cup of tea, that is fine.
I think what he's getting at is there are many free webinars going on right now. They're not all specifically Logos, but the trend of free webinars is prominent in 2020. Additionally, $45 will

  • Drag-n-drop into text edit field

Drag and drop is WONDERFUL...except that it doesn't work in a text edit field, specifically in notes and Sermon editor. This is especially noticeable when copying clippings into a sermon document . I like how copying from a resource to the sermon editor automatically creates a sort of built in cited format. Unfortunately, if you do that from a clippings

  • Bible reference range search syntax

Is there a way to search for any occurrence of a verse or set of verses within a range of verses? As an example, I'm preaching from Mark 5:1-20 soon. I would like to see what non-versified resources reference any combination of the verses above. I don't necessarily want to type every variation of verses or abbreviations with an ANDOR. Something like
Recommended Hardware and Software for Logos/Verbum includes 16 GB RAM while System Requirements show a minimum of 2 GB so 2020 iPad Pro (and 2018 iPad Pro with 1 TB storage) with 6 GB RAM have more than the minimum RAM needed, but not recommended. I
Thanks for the suggestion Kevin. We have been talking about it. Would love to hear how in particular you would envision using the feature.
I‘d settle for the ability to have Logos open in the large screen with a second Logos open in the tile. Generally i prefer to have Logos open to whatever resource

Is there a way to set bookmarks to a specific resource without specifying the location within the resource? I want to be able to hit Command+1 and go directly to my preferred Bible regardless of what I'm doing, but every time it opens up to the original reference (Mark 5:7) when I set it up. Most of the time my Bible is already open to the passage I
If Graham is right, and it was L7, why would you think that would mean any sort of "delay" in L9?
I don’t know that there is a “delay” but possibly a very different timeline for release than what many are hoping to be a Fall 2020 release. I’m assuming the publishing of videos on YouTube

since They just published these MANY tutorials to their yuutube, can we make the assumption that Logos 9 is not coming out soon? Why would they produce/publish so many tutorials for L8 to be out of date in only a couple of months?

  • Favorites Naming Conventions

How do you name your bookmarks in favorites? The default naming convention seems to be “title (type)”, but I’m considering whether it is worth the extra effort to rename with “Scripture Ref | title (type)”. For background, my textual research folder hierarchy is Testament>Book>Title|Ref>Bookmarks.
