  • Re: Logos 5.0 Update issue

First of all, thank you for your patience and your extended help. Regarding "simply upgrading to 6.0": Are you referring to the FREE upgrade of 6.0? Or the paid upgrade? If you're suggesting the paid upgrade, that's out of the question. I have had Logos since version 1.0. In fact, I bought into Logos when the company was VERY small, and I even spoke

  • Re: Logos 5.0 Update issue

Is it possible (advisable) to completely uninstall Logos/Libronix from my hard drive, then just download the free 6.0 core engine, and finish up by letting the 6.0 download all of my purchased books/files? A secondary question would be: by going to the free 6.0, what will I lose? I have read through the 5.0 posts, and there seems to be a bit of concern

  • Logos 5.0 Update issue

Opened Logos. It downloaded the corrections for all files (as usual). When it finished, the following message appeared: "An update is ready to be installed for Logos 5.0." When I attempted to run the update, the following error message appeared: Error writing to file: D:\Users\JDM\AppData\Local\Logos4\System\Logos.TouchPoints.dll. Verify that you have

  • Re: Grouping Perseus into Folders in my Library

I appreciate the three of you responding. I am not trying to separate books into groupings to be able to pull that group up when I need it. The truth is, there are maybe 20-25 of the books out of the whole set that I really am interested in. I don't want to have to scroll through hundreds of Perseus books to get to what I really want each time...especially

OK. neither posted suggestion really accomplishes what I want. Maybe the best thing is to contact Logos and have them remove Perseus from my Library. Will they do this via email?

  • Grouping Perseus into Folders in my Library

I downloaded the free Perseus offering -- a LOT of books, papers, etc. Is it possible to set up my Library with Perseus divided/groups into Folders -- example... Perseus (Latin); Perseus (Greek); Perseus (Civil War); etc. As it currently exists in the Library, it is a royal pain to scroll through all of them to get to what I want, and I do NOT want

I have Dragon NaturallySpeaking 11.5, allowing me to construct letters, papers, etc in 2010 Word without typing (have problems with Carpal Tunnel). Are there any GOOD Forum posts, videos or instructional sites on: 1) Using Logos via Dragon NaturallySpeaking... and 2) Directing Word to dictionaries, thesauruses, etc. in Logos to be used as Custom Dictionaries

If it's not too much trouble, would you explain to me how to use "collections to sort out books that I don't want to show up when I search the entire library". I'm referring to the Perseus Collection. It's a real pain when scrolling through my library on my iPod to have to always get through/past the hundreds of books in the Perseus collection in order

To: Philana Crouch & Keep Smiling 4 Jesus, Really appreciated both of your responses. Thank you. OK, I've got to admit after reading your responses that I am guilty of not having given Vyrso much serious consideration. I wasn't aware of the "free books" feature. I really didn't think about Vyrso beyond how it might or might not relate to Logos. I will

Another quick question...just soliciting your opinion: What is the point of Vyrso? OK, granted if you are looking for Christian fiction in digital format, it's a great vehicle. But anything besides fiction, why wouldn't you want it in a Logos format instead, which then gives you the added benefit of having it interlinked with every other book for Global

I passed my MacBook on to my son recently. I love Macs but while I was waiting around for the Mac version of Logos to come out, I went ahead and bought an HP 17" Pavilion laptop w/HD screen so I could continue to use my Logos. Now that the Mac version is out, I am seriously considering buying the upcoming new release of the solid state AirBook in a

Philana, Thank you very much for the super advice with plenty of excellent resource references. You sure you don't work for Logos? :-) If not, you'd be great in the customer service field. That's the field I've worked in for the last 5 years. I will spend some time over the next few days to read through the referenced materials. If I have any unanswered

Thanks to all who responded...but no, I did NOT know you could create as many and as varied a combination of panels as desired. I have been using the preformatted ones. And what about the capability to port via Apple TV to the big flatscreen HDTV. Anyone know about this? If so, how? Can you then interact with it via a wireless mouse from the recliner

  • Didn't You Read My Book? by Richard Eby, MD

This book is approximately 90% Scripture reference and is an awesome tool for understanding the Lord via His Word. To understand the impact and importance of this book it would probably be best to read his two prior books -- Caught Up To Paradise and Tell Them I Am Coming .
