  • Am I am why Logos Version 4 is Slow?

I thought, "Having the info window so slow, causes me to slow down when I study and prepare lessons; it opens up time to reflect a bit more while the little wheel spins". I thought, "This is, in the long, run a good thing...it causes me to be more reflective". I thought, "God is trying to teach me patience, to soak more in the study....to be patient

As a self-professed literalist, I am with Bill and Mark on this. For me everything starts out literal until some evidence proves it otherwise. Even if we had a perfect original text we would still have to understand the local application of the phrase to glean the full "local" meaning. My favorite figure requiring such thought is "face to face". My

  • Re: 500 Year Calvin Collection - pre-pub expires 2/26 ?

Dominik, That's what it was for me, thanks. For my collection 72 resources were added. If I go thru the listing of Calvin 108 on the Calvin product page and collapse all the multiple books into a single file...it adds up to 108. I opened one or two in my Library and as you say, the cover pages generally says that all the volumes are there in that one

I just got mine. How come I only got 72 new books showing in my library when it was done? Anybody know why it wasn't 108? I had the platnum when I started so maybe some of the 108 were already in that? thx for info

Be sure and go to cast your vote that some developmental resources be spent to speed up the info window. Here is the link: http://logos.uservoice.com/forums/42823-logos-bible-software-4

The 20 is good for me although if the 13 works for everyone else I'd catch up after. I think our 1st meet might be best to be meet and greet centric. Maybe we could just informally around the table and everybody introduce themselves and tell what they are doing with logos, what sort of issues if anythey are having, and then share the logos feature that

Any Sat in March except the 13th is good for me...but if the 13th works for everyone, I'll catch you on the 2nd meeting.

That sounds great, but I can't do March 13. I'll have to catch the second meeting. Greensboro is fine to me, its around 2hours. joe

I could participate at Greensboro or I can make some space-a in Henderson. I'm all up'sy over Logos4 but I need some company or advice about the trouble I'm having with it....mostly speed related. Main thing for me is to ensure the meet is somewhere near a coffee-pot. joe

HI, Joe here....almost recovered from hosting the Camp at Central Baptist, Henderson. It was so great to have you all here...it was a great experience although quite hectic from a host perspective. Everyone's positive feedback is appreciated by the many folks at my Church who worked so hard supporting us...it's impossible to thank them all. I'm up for
