  • Whoa! 48 pages on the homepage?!?!

I started up today and it seems I now have 48 pages of homepage material when I typically have 5 or 6. Most of it seems to be from the "Thoughts for the Quiet Hour Devotional". Will this go away when tomorrow (which after all is another day) begins? I'm eager to know, but principally because I'm amused (easily, some say). Thanks for a great 2010 Logos

  • Re: Very Disappointed in Logos 4

Jeremy and all..... Everyday and in everyway, we're getting better and better. In spite of the hiccups along the way, and there have been several, I am consistently impressed with the responses I receive from folks in the forum and from the Development Team as well. Good things come to those who wait. Ah, come scriptural bliss and don't delay. ---Warren

  • Editing error in the Anchor Yale Bible Dictionary for Myra

Dear Powers that be; I caught an error in the entry for Myra in the Yale Anchor Bible Dictionary today. I don't know from whence it came and if it can be fixed in the digital version, but anyway: The most famous church is that of the legendary St. Nicholas at Myra. Nicholas was born at Patara ca. 300 b.c . and served as the bishop of Myra. Late sources

  • N.T. Wright Collection

Hey there all. I've got some questions about the Pre Pub offering on the 34 Volume N.T. Wright collection. Mainly, I'm wanting to know if anyone (especially all y'all at Logos) can answer the following: A few of the SPCK volumes have the same titles as books he's published with Harper's and others in the US. I notice significant differences in the page

  • Hyperlinks in Notes

Hey there y'all. I was able (I thought) to get hyperlinks to work in Notes last week, but last night, not so much. I'm running 4.0b Beta 3 (4.10.4.6980) Is there anything you can tell me out there? I found one thread that suggested it's a bug in the resolution process. If it does work for some of y'all can you tell me how to go about it? Thanks in advance

I'll chime in and echo what you've heard from everyone else so far! Go, if you can manage it. In the first hour I learned things that would've taken me hours to uncover on my own. As with most things, I find I get a great deal of encouragement and energy from working through something new with other folks committed to learning for the sake of a wider

  • Re: Typo in 1000 Bible Images?

It would definitely not pass the 'unambiguous headline' test. It could mean that there was a typo in all the images, or just somewhere in the images. Oh my!. Just the one as far as I know. --Warren

  • Typo in 1000 Bible Images?

Going through 1000 Bible Images this afternoon, I came across what I believe to be a typo. Maybe not, but it's not consistent with the article at least. In the entry under Nineveh the index column on the left of the window says 'Niniveh' Screen cap attached, from my Mac --Warren 7271.Niniveh.tiff

This may be way off topic, but can you direct me to a forum post that details the pros/cons of participating in Beta program for Logos 4 Mac and how to set my update channel accordingly? --Warren

  • Re: Bug? SBL Greek New Testament

I can't say whether it indexed or not. Apparently it downloaded before today, so might have indexed then. I'll wait for the fix and see what comes of it. Thanks for the reply. -Warren

Doh! Never mind. It's in the library but I'm still not sure it's indexed. Sorry for the false start.

  • Re: Bug? SBL Greek New Testament

This is not directly related, but I don't find the SBLGNT in my Library. I downloaded it today (or so I thought) and checked the application support only to see that it shows to have downloaded on the 27th. I don't know if it's indexed or not, how can I tell and what can I do about it if it's not? -Warren

  • Reading Plan Bug-Mark as Read option requires clicking two separate times to show read

While running Logos 4 Mac I've noticed that for the last few days when I finish a daily reading plan and click 'Mark as Read' it doesn't show as read on the homepage when I return. If I open the reading plan again and click 'Mark as Read' the update applies. 40711.Archive.zip

  • Prolegomena Download

I bought the Prolemgomena of Israel http://www.logos.com/products/details/6421 on Pre-Pub and the page says it's 'Live' now. How do I get it into my library? I saw where I could download it from the above page and so I did. Now what?

  • Handouts for Mac

I remember from Camp Logos in Boston last month that handouts are on the way for the Mac platform. Any idea when that functionality will go live? I appreciate any information anyone might have.
