I have had the Verbum Now for a couple of months and have had some success with it. After reading the description on the Logos web site I am going to try Logos Now for a month and see if I notice any differences and see what I think. Depending on what I see I may stay with it or I might go back to Verbum Now. Can't hurt to try it for a month.

I am putting this in the General Forum because it deals with two different platforms, Verbum and Logos. I have both Verbum 6 and Logos 6 on my computer. I haven't really noticed much of a difference between them. Having said that, is there a difference between Verbum Now and Logos Now? They are both $8.99 per month and I can only afford one of them

AHA!!! That explains it. Just a simple misunderstanding! Thanks for clearing that up!

Thanks for your help, Bradley. After you employed your fixes I have tried a couple of Topic searches and have had no further issues with the Community Tags.
-
You're not missing anything! The developers at Faithlife fixed the problem before you attempted your Topic search. They said so a few messages above.

Thank you! When I posted this I did not realize that it was an ongoing bug. I just thought that I was doing something wrong. Hopefully it will get addressed in the next update.

I am using the latest version of Verbum 6.10 SR-2 as of the last update. I am pretty sure I ran a topic search, or at least that is what I was trying to do. I don't swear I did it right. If I remember correctly it was typed as . Maybe not. It was late before bedtime, and I can't remember for sure.

I found the answer to my question in the Logos Wiki section on Reading Plans. As it turns out somehow the reading markers had gotten turned off in my visual filters. I simply rechecked the box next to my reading plans in Visual Filters and VOILA!!! the reading markers were back. I did have to exit out of the reading plan and then re-enter into it to

I did a topic search for salvation. As you can see from this photo under the heading of Community Tags the Lexham Bible Dictionary returned 23 articles. However, none of the articles are available to click on to read. What am I doing wrong?

I created a 2-year reading plan for the NABRE in Verbum this evening. However, because I had issues with reading the book of Luke in 2 months I went and checked it by clicking on the first reading which begins this Sunday. When the scriptures came up for Gen 1-2 there were no Start and Stop indicators for it. This can be kind of a pain because I may

MJ, I have the RSVCE and NRSVCE but not the Interlinear editions. I guess that explains why it is not working. Jeffrey

Hey Keep Smiling! I do not have a Logos Now subscription but I do have a Verbum Now subscription. Jeffrey

I tried it with the RSVCE and the NRSVCE and it did not work. The Study Notes on John box is checked in both versions Visual Filters but is still does not show up when I create a note in the NRSVCE. I am getting really frustrated here. Seems there is so much that I am supposed to be able to do that just doesn't work as advertised.

I have watched the video on Corresponding Notes and Highlights that has been featured on my Verbum 6 Home Page for several day three times now. I have tried it and for some reason it does not work for me. I tried to put a note on the phrase "In the beginning" on John 1:1 and it worked find in the NABRE. However, when I opened the NRSVCE and tried the

I see what you mean on Jn 1 19. It just seems odd to me to include headings in a verse selection when adding a note to a file. But I get what you are saying. I will just have to take your word for it concerning the "other adverse side-effects" as I am, of course, unfamiliar with how these things work. I appreciate your response to my query on this.

I just did an experiment at the suggestion of another user. I went into the NRSVCE and did the same things as in the NABRE. It worked. When I highlighted John 1:1 and selected Add Note to Study Notes on John it did NOT highlight the Chapter and Book headings as it does in the NABRE. Apparently the bug is in that Bible and not a bug of Verbum 6. IT would

When I go to add the note to the verse by selecting John 1:1 from the menu it selecting both the verse and the heading "I. Prologue" and the sub-heading "Chapter 1" . There does not seem to be any way to remove that highlighting from the headings. Just to be sure this was not just an anomaly on John 1:1 I went to Matt 1:1 and tried to add a note to

Okay! I figured it out. For some reason it does not show all of the options on the left on one screen. I noticed there is a thin, grey vertical bar between the right and left side of the screen. I had not noticed it before on the many times I tried this. If you pull the bar down there are two more options, one of which is Report Typos. No telling how

When I do that, this is what I see!

While reading the passage on Revelation 21:1-8 the first sentence reads thusly, " A new heaven and a new earth. No more sea. The New Jerusalem descends from God dressed life a bride. Martindale, C.
