  • Re: Go Box Command Order

Hi, Mark, "Layout" is the default action, but the Go box should learn your preferences over time. Use your mouse or the arrow keys to select the command you want execute, and after a few times, the Go box should move it the top of the list.

  • Re: Is Logos 8 Mac ready for Catalina?

We had some user bug reports regarding Catalina, and have done some testing internally. We have fixed all known issues in 8.8 (see release notes ). If further compatibility issues surface when Catalina releases (and Logos gets more exposure from a wider audience), we will fix them as they arise.

  • Re: 8.8 (8.8.0.0039) is now available

Hey, Eduardo, I'm sorry about that. Morph Query runs on a web service that has to be updated every time a new version of the SBLGNT resource is published (as it was today). We are working on updating Morph Query and other resource-dependent web services now, so it shouldn't be too long before it "just starts working" again; it will not require you to

Reuben, I can't repro this either, and I don't see anything obvious in the logs. It looks like your Library is in a floating window in Details view with the Resource Info pane open with the sidebar (ostensibly) opened to width of 77 pixels Can you try resizing the window, and changing those other variables to try to escape the weird state it's in?

[quote user="Graham Criddle"] I was looking at this again yesterday and think this might actually be correct behaviour! I only see the symptoms described if I have selected multiple facets in the Notes browser - so, for example, I have it filtering on Notebook but also in biblical book and date created. The new note may not satisfy those criteria so

This is a known issue on Catalina, which affects the Sermon and Atlas panels in Logos. We are working on a fix, which we will have ready in time for the stable release of Catalina.

We temporarily took down the 8.7 update last night about 11:00pm PDT (6:00am GMT), due to a crash that a few users reported here . [quote user="Bradley Grainger (Faithlife)"] The crash appears to be caused by combining multiple search filters, e.g., searching within a particular highlighting style and also searching within a passage range. • Re: Revamped Context Menu

I'm glad you all like the change. We would have liked to have introduced it with 8.0, but it was on a long list of things that we didn't have time. Still, we think that together with the selection menu, it adds enough value not to wait for another major release. One of the main goals is to make Logos easier to use, especially for the novice. MJ, What would you expect "People" to do? Your workflow user would already have selected a person as the key. Dictionaries displays articles about said person. Events displays events that the person was involved in. People would... show relatives, perhaps? We have the data for that, but there's no existing guide or Factbook section that lists it. (Factbook
