The Wikipedia tool will be removed from Logos 9.7, which is planned to ship to stable on August 17, 2021. Shortcuts, Favorites, and other specific links to Wikipedia (e.g., in resources) will open the Wikipedia page in web browser. The Wikipedia lookup option in the context menu will remain, and will execute a Wikipedia search in a browser

The Contents sidebar in Factbook is designed to let you browse all Factbook pages, grouped by different root directories (Person, Concept, Belief, etc). Because pages in Factbook are often the marriage of equivalent references from multiple datasets, the hierarchy can get messy quickly. Yesterday's UAV resource update includes several improvements to

Thanks for the question, Bob. Can you tell us what method you are using to scroll? Touchpad, mousewheel, buttons in the scroll bar, arrow keys, touch screen It might also help us to know what visual filters you have turned on in your Bible, and if you have a lot of notes/highlights. If you are able to share a screenshot or video screencapture, that

Is there a Verbum SR-1? I keep getting "No updates available"
There is. Could it be you're on the beta channel for updates? The SR only went to the stable channel.
Pater, this SR was solely to fix the crash that some users were experiencing when opening the Library. If that applies
I'm sorry for those who are having problems, but this is why you always set "automatically start downloads" to no and never install new versions on release day.
This is certainly the cautious route, and of course that's your prerogative. For the record, this crash affected ~3% of users who installed the 9.5 update. There

We made a quick update to the web app to match the Bible reference linking behavior in the desktop app.
it detected all verses with the exception of Hebr 13,20
This is a known issue on all platforms that also affects Chinese and some other languages. It's a larger issue that will take more time, but we are actively working

Ultimately, it's unproductive to set rules that specify exactly what statements are permitted, and which should not be allowed as "theological." Those rules would only beget more rules, until we spend all time litigating what counts as "correct" speech. We have guidelines, not specific rules, precisely because we trust the people in our community to

I mean that the question is inherently theological. What constitutes "authoritative?" Whose definition are you using of "heretic"? If we want to give resource recommendations for studying what freemasons believe, great. The minute we make an evaluation on orthodoxy, it is theological by nature.
Is it possible to stay within the forum guidelines and get recommendations on authoritative resources that discuss whether or not freemasonry is heretic to Christianity?
No.

That's enough. When a thread has more posts about who-said-what than about the topic of the original post, it has outlived its usefulness.

Please don't turn this into a political thread.
I thought "My Logos Messages" would refer to messages I might receive from my faithlife.com. I see that is not the case and have now turned that off. For Batman, that might be the issue? Because it seems that "My Logos Messages" are all ads. Maybe helpful to rename it to ?My Logos Ads"?
That's a fair point. "My Logos Messages
I have turned it off and you KEEP adding them back.
This part concerns me. I take "ads" to mean "things for sale on the home page," either from blogs or "My Logos Messages". Are you saying that you have disabled blog and message cards on the home page settings, and they keep getting re-enabled?

Thanks, everyone. We'll look into this immediately.
