• Re: Reading Books Offline

I've updated my original post . Most likely, the reason people aren't seeing a title in offline mode is because they didn't allow for the resource to complete downloading. Wait until you receive your confirmation message that the resource has downloaded entirely. After that, you should see it in your library in offline mode.
Hi Ryan, Can you quantify what limited means? Some of the books I really want to read offline don't have that option available while others offer the option. Is this a licensing issue or a temporary software limitation or both?
I used the term "limited" because you have to manually choose what titles you want to have access

  • Reading Books Offline

Apple has approved version 1.2, which supports limited offline reading. For some reason they've done this while we're not at work... so, I'll work on a better tutorial tomorrow morning. Till then, here is the quick "my wife is waiting on me to start the movie" version: First, make sure you're connected to the internet via wifi or your carrier. Second

We're working on it: http://community.logos.com/forums/t/5469.aspx As Bob mentioned today , the Logos iPhone app was a late addition to the Logos 4 game plan and we're working on all fronts to both deliver content and inform users of available content.

The preview images on the page were taken while the App was still in internal testing. At that time we hadn't filtered out any titles. We threw the "Product configuration in screenshots is illustrative" in the footer, but I'll put on my list to update the images in the near future. thanks for the reminder.

As I said, I'm not in Publisher Relations, so I can't comment about Lenski Bible Commentaries in particular. Right now we have about 20% of our titles available for the iPhone app and adding more all the time. Our goal, of course, is 100%. But as has been stated elsewhere, most of the hold up relates to working with the publishers. So, as far as overall

Dan, I'm not in our publisher relations department, but I do know that we're in communication with all our publishers and are trying to get as many book available for the app as possible. With over 10,000 titles in our format, it might take a little while. As for the fact that another publisher has the title in their app and we don't, that shouldn't

Three options: The program is self updating, so if you open it Logos 4 should look for updates and get them if they are available. You can click the link at the top of http://community.logos.com/forums/t/5718.aspx . You can open Alpha 3 and type "update now" in the command bar.
