I am not a huge fan of Accordance but I may have to move back for LSB for a bit. I hope it comes out here soon.

Oh no, I feel terrible because I forgot to tell anyone. I am glad it is working now. So far I am just chalking it up to using a long-running Notes tab on a mac then importing it into Windows and using it there. Or something. No idea. Anyway, closing it and reopening it solved the issue, even after re-saving the layout.
-
Well, I feel terrible. I fixed it by closing my notes section that I had in my saved layout then adding a new instance back in. Once I did that it was fine. It has always worked on my macbook but never in Windows for that instance. It may have been that I copied the existing macbook church notes layout that I had and it may have caused a weird issue
-
Nope - just regular notes

Wow - I forgot about this post. Yeah, that replacement iMac was trash. I had bad overheating issues across the board and ended up going back to PC where I can both open it and replace things like thermal paste or go with water cooling.

I have Logos 9 installed on two of my laptops. I have a super old Macbook (9-ish years) and a new Windows 10 laptop that is replacing it. At my church we have no wifi and my phone has no signal there so I can't tether. On Mac, spell check works with the network disabled, but on Windows it will not process until I get the network back online. Can I fix
I also got this course and am looking forward to it, the bit I'm confused about if anyone could help me out, is that I see there is also a separate alphabet course (GK092) and a Workbook (An Introduction to Biblical Greek: A Grammer with Exercises). Are these something that I should purchase before beginning the course

The problem with OP's question is that "fast" is subjective. What's fast for one may not be fast for another. First, you need to consider how large library is. If you have a huge library then you'll need more RAM and more storage. Regarding a new computer, all you need to know is the following: 1) You want a mulit-core CPU as Logos takes full advantage
-
No library means you’re not subscribing to the cloud books that are in the connect packages but you’re paying for features and membership perks
Exactly. You only have access to your own library that you've purchased, plus the core features included in what was Logos Now.
-
Cool. That's what I want then. Is there an option to buy the books for the course at a discount or do we just get our standard Logos Now discount applied to the content?
-
Choose Essentials. We get the same benefits as that tier.
Cool - that's what I thought. Thanks!
-
I'm a little confused on this course - is it a Greek language course, or is it a "how to use/analyze Greek language in Logos" course? By that I mean, is this a course on Logos or Greek?
-
You can claim your benefits by visiting http://connect.faithlife.com/get-started and scrolling down to Claim benefits.
Please forgive my ignorance here, but when I click that link and go to the page, I don't see the package listed for us. What should I choose? Just the regular "Essentials", or "Starter"? I assume
-

I still cannot work out the advantage that retaining the re-badged LN option has over moving to the starter plus a $200 voucher.
Re-badged LN = Connect Essentials (No Library), which has the following advantages over Connect Starter: It provides access to the full feature set (instead

I've been a Logos user for nearly 10 years and despite having spent quite a bit of money over the years, I'm talking now to someone over at Accordance to see if they have anything they can offer. Given that there may be a bunch of people jumping ship, it may be a good idea for them to create a lifeboat package for people exiting the Logos platform.
-
This is my point exactly. "Thanks for being a loyal customer for 10+ years! Now pay us twice as much or you lose a bunch of the resources you use on a daily basis, and, by the way, you're losing a bunch of benefits!"
-
Bidded! Is that a thing?
-
Dang. I was really hoping it would work out like I'd like. It's a great companion device and Kindle works fine on it (once you disable the mobile authenticator) but I really want a device that will allow me to track my reading just like the iOS device, but isn't an iOS device. Thank you for your help!

I have an old iPad that I don't really want to take with my anywhere for a bunch of reasons. I fly a lot for work and am getting back into reading my Logos library and, best of all, I have a spare Surface RT that's been collecting dust in my house for the last year or so. All that said, I fired it up, tried to install Logos and remember that I can't

May as well toss my name into the hat. We've used the Logos app on our iphones since it came out but have since dropped our iPhones for Evo's. That's two more users who need Logos for Android.
