You can customize how the Reftagger popup looks here: https://faithlife.com/products/reftagger/customize It does turn text to a hyperlink, so the references should be the same color as other hyperlinks on the page, and should be controlled by your site/page's CSS. If you provide a link to the page, we can take a look and see what's happening.

We recently made a big change at Faithlife, and I wanted to share it with all of you. What follows is a version of the announcement I made to our team weeks ago: I co-founded Faithlife more than 30 years ago, in May, 1991. I was 19 years old when we started working on Logos Bible Software (inspired by a program I wrote when I was 15); this is truly

On Saturday evening Cindy Proctor died from injuries received in a car accident earlier that day. Cindy was the wife of Morris Proctor, and together with Morris had been training Logos users for more than 20 years. She was a constant, cheerful presence at Camp Logos events, and became a dear friend of so many of Logos users as well as Faithlife team
I hope that one day there will be a little book or documentary about the role of Logos and technology from a Christian perspective
Someone contacted us about a history of Bible software they were working on, but I don't recall seeing anything come from it. I'll have to check my email archives. In the meantime, John

Faithlife is conducting a survey on church budgets and accounting. We would appreciate your answers to these few questions -- and would especially appreciate if you are willing to share your church's budget and/or chart of accounts. https://forms.gle/XbpS8aQ6rK7xw6beA Our goal is to better understand what tools churches are using and to generate an

Thanks for the kind words and congratulations! It's hard to believe it's been so long (and even longer, since I wrote my first DOS-based Bible search program in 1986 -- in high school!). It's continues to be a great blessing to serve so many kind and enthusiastic users, and to have so many of you who've been using Logos for so many years.

We've added more options to your user profile, and given you control over which data fields are shared publicly, with the admins of Faithlife groups / churches you join, and with co-members of Faithlife groups. The profile information you choose to show publicly will also be available to people who look you up from content you choose to share at Faithlife

Thanks to COVID, most of us aren't even working in the office downtown... (though I miss it!) We were able to switch to remote work very quickly, which is a good sign about our adaptability (and ability to run the business despite anything that might happen to our office buildings). Bellingham is struggling (and arguing) about how best to help the homeless

I'm sorry you don't like the splash screen... for what it's worth, it's been there since the very beginning. As far as I know it's programmed to display right away -- so that you know your app invocation worked -- and to disappear as soon as the app is loaded enough to use. We aren't trying to force anyone to look at it, and it's only there as long

I'm sorry that we released this without more attention, and for your frustration. In our desire to get all the books over as quickly as possible we're using automation and batch processing first; I don't know that each title is hand checked, since we have thousands to process and most go through relatively smoothly. We will certainly go back and revisit

Servant Keeper will be distinct for now, though over time we will offer integration and eventually an option to move to Faithlife Equip.

I believe you can Reply or add to the discussion.
But for me, Logos went from a company where I knew a number of people, and felt understood, and connected to the company; to feeling disconnected and out in the cold.
I'm sorry to hear you feel disconnected. We do have quite a few people who've been with us for many years -- five of us since 1993 (!) and others from

Phil's answer is correct... I'd also add that while some people are "all-in" on mobile devices, whether phones or tablets, it does seem like many people exhibit a 'create/consume' distinction (myself included!) where most 'creation' (writing, editing, typing) happens on a laptop or desktop -- something with a keyboard and maybe a mouse -- and use their
Right now something that has been weird to me is the "week" tab on Sermon Manager
Our observation is that different churches have different concepts of the week, or even the 'sermon day'. Some sermons aren't just for Sunday, they are delivered Saturday night and again once or twice on Sunday morning. Some churches think

I'm sorry you don't like the new icon... it's an attempt to make clearer the family connection to all the Faithlife tools. You can see the icons lined up here: https://equip.faithlife.com/ Our logo and icon have changed many times over the years, and each change feels weird and 'wrong' at first, until it doesn't. I feel the same way about other companies
AGREED! Aside from a few issues, things have been VERY smooth, and the positive feedback has been very pleasant. I'm sure the FL staff are pleased about this! And Bob, too! LOL
I am very pleased! :-) We shipped Logos v1.0 29 years ago, so it's good that the process is now "VERY smooth". I think the secret is that I

Some of this is done by hand, and there may be inconsistency (or older resources produced before we did this). We typically create the short titles for books with awkward titles and well-known popular 'short handles', but that's a subjective and sometimes personal distinction. There are also "Titles: Subtitles" and algorithmic shortening to abbreviation
It looks like Faithlife / Logos might be the last one standing...
When we started there were lots of DOS programs, and soon many Windows ones... QuickVerse, Ask God, BibleWindows, GRAMCORD, Wordsearch, CDWordLibrary, Online Bible, PC Study Bible, etc. Today many of those are gone, but there are even more mobile apps, web sites
