• Re: Church Mobile Ed Subscription and Logos Bible App

The Church Deal ( https://churchdeal.faithlifesites.com/ -- the best deal we've ever offered! :-) ) comes with streaming access to the video of the courses, but not the transcripts and reading lists, etc. So right now you can only access those course videos via the streaming platforms (https://faithlifetv.com, iPhone/iPad, Roku, Apple TV, etc.) and

  • Re: Any chance for an all access subscription?

Our license agreements probably won't allow an 'all access' subscription for books any time soon, but we are working to offer more Logos Cloud configurations with more content. We do off an all-access model for Faithlife TV and Logos Mobile Ed: https://churchdeal.faithlifesites.com/ This is an amazing deal that I'd encourage you to take advantage of

  • Pastor? Church Leader? Faithlife is building engagement tools...

We have been inviting pastors near our office to visit and help us learn how to better serve them. Logos Bible Software helps with sermon preparation, but that's just part of a pastor's job. Many pastors tell us that they want engagement: they want to see the people in their church engage with the Word and with each other. I'd love to have you join

We really appreciate suggestions for Pro Media. What would you like to see on these slides? Any particular words or images?

  • Re: Faithlife TV Christmas Music stream

There is a link straight to it from the bottom-left of the Home Page sidebar. It needs a full browser window for navigation, so we decided not to put it right into the app.

  • Re: Personal Update from Bob and Audra Pritchett

Thanks, everyone, for your prayers and encouragement. Audra has now had four of six chemo treatments. We heard yesterday that the treatment is going well, with tumors shrinking, and we're thankful for that even though the cumulative impact of the chemo is getting harder. The treatment cycles should be complete by the end of February.
I recently enquired whether Logos offers discounts for those in full time ministry,
Almost all of our customers are in ministry; as far as we can tell around 40% of our users are in full-time ministry, and 20% are full-time students, 10% faculty, and the remaining are (mostly) in part-time ministry. It's a small number

  • Re: Replacing old Sermon File add-in / sermon archiving

I should add that there's no charge for storing text sermons at SoundFaith. (If you store a large amount of media -- lots of videos, for example -- or want to download the premium art and Photoshop files there is a paid subscription level, but you don't need that to archive your text sermons.)

  • Replacing old Sermon File add-in / sermon archiving

SoundFaith.com is now in pretty good shape, and supports bulk-uploading of sermons (from audio, video, or Word documents). We'd like to make SoundFaith.com your new best sermon archive, both for your own use and for sharing with others. (Sermons uploaded at SoundFaith.com can be discovered on the web as well as via various Logos Guides.) We'll shortly

  • Re: Sermon editor Ugly formatting on export

Sorry about that... we're going to take a look at it. Ideally we'd just export the semantic H1, H2, value, etc. and let your style sheet in Word handle the formatting. Or rather, ideally we can make the editor good enough that you won't need to go to Word, and can just work in Logos. :-) What's missing to make that happen?

There is even more Christmas content on Faithlife TV now... take another look! Please do report if you're having buffering issues; we hope they should be resolved, but it may depend on your location. Please let us know where you are (state/country) if you're seeing too much buffering.
I am concerned over the direction of FL and it's claim that an ownership model is not sustainable.
The ownership model IS sustainable. We sell you the product, you give us the money, we part ways. What is harder to sustain is: We sell you the product, you give us the money, and we have to keep supporting / updating
While I don't have an issue with subscription, I do think it puts undue pressure on Faithlife to get new customers, hence there is a large drive toward new features.
Actually, it's the opposite. The comparison to Amazon and Netflix just doesn't work. - They have massive customer bases -- effectively everyone. We sell to a very narrow market in comparison. Even if we sold to EVERY pastor in America that would only be 300,000 customers. (And we don't.) They can sell to 300 million people in America, etc. - They're backed by investors that sustain

I feel your pain. I get confused too. I'm very interested in suggestions on how we can improve this. Our complexity comes from trying to balance so many different issues: - We want to upgrade the core engine at no cost, so new books can use new features without requiring the user to buy an expensive upgrade to the core. They can buy a newer book and

Faithlife TV Plus is $5/month. You get some 'live streams' (long loops) as well as lots of video-on-demand. You can also use Faithlife TV without a Plus subscription, but you'll be limited to a smaller selection of content as well as video content you purchased for Logos Bible Software.
