• Why are highlights showing up in my notes file???

I created a notebook in notes for Mark 14:53-65 since I'm going to preach a sermon on that and I want to easily find my notes for it without having to take the extra step of creating tags or searching for books or texts. I have that notebook open so I can add notes easily. So far so good. Now as I'm reading a commentary I highlighted a selection with

I don't have time to recreate this. I'm usually too focused on what I'm doing to realize the exact steps I took. However I've noticed several times that if I'm highlighting text and maybe drag it just a millimeter or so suddenly things rearrange. I'll try to save more often. Thanks.

  • Logos needs and UNDO.

I have a large monitor for Logos so I show several panes with many tabs in each. I was just trying to highlight a scripture in a Bible pane, dragging the cursor over a text when BAM. Logos changed all the arrangement of my panes! I could go back to the last layout, but I've changed some things since then. So I'll have to be content with wasting time

  • Re: How do I get the timeline tool to show what I want?

I don't want to put in all the names of the OT Kings and Prophets. There must be a better way.

  • How do I get the timeline tool to show what I want?

I'd like to simply see the OT prophets and kings on the timeline tool. It used to offer that option but now I get an enormous chart that has way too much information even after setting it to show Biblical Studies and Events and limit it to Individual Lifespan, Reign and Role.

  • Re: JB Phillips Bible Translation_Suggestion

I would like to have this as well. While I don't always agree with his interpretation, most of the time I really like the insights I get from him, especially if I just want to read through a book quickly. I notice the advert I assume you copied says it's a translation. It isn't at all. It's good to keep the difference between translation and paraphrase

  • Re: Please provide a printable order summary

Thanks. Almost all the other online stores I use have a link to provide a simplified pdf or print version of a receipt. Logos does send an email receipt, but like the web page it's chocked full of advertisements and extraneous stuff.

  • Please provide a printable order summary

I'd like to have a printable order summary from Logos when I finish checking out and paying. I want to save them for reimbursement. I've tried printing / saving as PDF the final order page but it includes all kinds of navigation information and splits things across screens that makes it useless. Thanks.
My approach is to open the reading resource in a floating window, then use the add tab button to open the Notes tool
I just tried that, and it may be more workable than I thought. • How do you handle switch from studying to reading?

I normally have a study window open with many panes: a pane for original language bibles, a pane for language helps, a pane with tabs for several English texts, a pane for commentaries, a pane for highlight tools, and a pane for notes ( I use a 24" monitor). While I'm studying a passage I may do a topic search and open a book that I just want to focus

  • Please have page-up/down and home work in clippings

Logos 8.2.0.0015 Windows 10 I've been spending time rearranging my clippings and found that page-up/down nor ctl-home/end work do not work. I hope this is on the to-do list.

  • Some things that would make clippings export more useful

Put Tags at the top of each clipping, not the bottom. The latest version of Logos 8 does a nice job of automatically putting a Scripture reference as the tag, which I find very helpful, but when I export it, it seems that it makes more sense to put all the tags at the top of each entry. Allow use of a bibliography format putting all that information

  • How do I "move" a note into a notebook in Logos 8

I want notebooks for topics and Bible texts that I work on for sermons etc. For example I have a notebook for communion to keep communion thoughts in. I understand that I can use tags, but they are an added step that I often find a nuisance distraction. My understanding is that if I have that notebook open, then when I create a note it will go into
