What are the most important changes -- to either Logos or Windows -- that would make Logos into a tablet-friendly product?

Special thanks to everyone who replied. Although I believe that a Microsoft Surface Pro 6 (i5, 8GB, 128GB SSD) could be used as a Logos-dedicated tablet, I have decided to pass on this year's sale. My decision was based primarily on two shortcomings -- 128GB SSD and the difficulty of using Logos in tablet mode. I would prefer a 256GB SSD for future

How does the Logos experience with a Microsoft Surface Pro compare to the experience with an iPad? What problems does Logos have in tablet mode?

128GB SSD ... Surface Pro 6 would be dedicated to Logos and my AppData\Local\Logos5 library is only 21GB , so I am guessing that I could live with 128GB SSD (that said, this issue was my first concern). Comments? More storage would be great (my desktop has a 512GB SSD), but the 256GB model will not be on sale, so I couldn't justify its price (I already

  • Logos on Microsoft Surface Pro

Does Logos run acceptably well on a Microsoft Surface Pro in tablet mode? Later next week, Costco will have a Microsoft Surface Pro 6 (i5, 8GB, 128GB SSD) with keyboard case and pen for $799.99. Currently, I am using a 9.7" iPad for small group Bible study. Although I like its size (8 to 10 of us sit around a table and have somewhat limited space),

  • Evangelical Heritage Version (EHV) Bible

Any word on when the EHV Bible will be available on Logos? According to the Wartburg Project's January 2018 Report, the full version has been completed and is being proofread. Unfortunately, it might not be available until 2019. A subset, the EHV New Testament and Psalms, has been for sale since mid-2017. Could it be made available on Logos while the

[quote user="alabama24"]Currently in beta, FL has created what they are (currently) calling "tabs." I don't think the nomenclature is good, because they aren't tabs! Instead, they are what I would call "workspaces." With scrolling view on, you can have multiple resources open and use the "page turn" swipe to move between resources. It is very nice.

MJ is correct that "Logos does have a significant amount of material from the even more conservative WELS." Moreover, Northwestern Publishing House (NPH) has a few excellent collections at a great discount: The Northwestern Publishing House Electronic Library: Collection One (100 vols.) includes several useful resources. Another year has passed. It's 2016 ...and while Logos has released many more books about Luther, we are still looking forward to some encouraging news about this one!

I know someone who might have purchased Logos 6 if What Luther Says were available (the purchase would have been a certainty if the NIV84 were still available, too!).

  • Personal Books, Bulk Import, COM API

Question-1 : How could I import a large number of .DOCX files as Personal Books? Question-2 : If Logos does not have this capability, will the Logos COM API be enhanced so I could write a program to do that? Background I have a couple thousand documents that I would like to add to my Logos library. Obviously, I wouldn't want to do that manually. Last

Agreed!!! Add my vote to get this book into Logos! A few minutes ago, after reading my hardcover edition, I was looking for it on Logos.com, hoping to add it to my Logos library. Does Logos not have a web page where we can vote for books?

  • 3.0.0.1248 Footer Icons Gone

Since upgrading to 3.0.0.1248, I have been unable to display the icons (at the bottom of a window) that allowed me to navigate to other windows such as the homepage, search, library, etc.. When I start Logos, the reader window appears and everything on it seems to be normal. Unfortunately, after tapping the bottom of that window, only a scroll bar appears
