• Biblical World Map

One of my frequently used resources in Logos is the Biblical World Map. I like to see where places are in relation to each other. Though I use this resource frequently, it if often challenging to access it. I have created a shortcut to it with the map centered on Jerusalem. However, when I search for another city (Antioch for example) Bible Facts takes

  • Copy Installation to New Machine

I can't seem to find the WIKI that explains how to copy resource files to a new machine using an external hard drive. Could someone post the link?
I want the app to keep 2-3 recently used note files at the top of the list of documents, with the rest alphabetized as is currently done. This would allow me to take notes more quickly.
I couldn't agree more. With a note file for each book my list is becoming rather cumbersome. It would be nice to choose between viewing

  • Re: SUGG: tweak Bible Reading plans, so daily readings don't start/end mid sentence

Interesting. I have a plan right now to read the Esv and it is broken up very cleanly along chapters in the OT and Pericope headings in the NT. However, plans i am using for a systematic theology and OT survey are broken up mid sentence.

  • Re: Note file for highlighting in commentaries

Thanks again. Somehow I overlooked that setting. It seems that saving the highlights in "book of the Bible" note files creates one giant study Bible. On the other hand, storing the highlights in commentary set note files allows you to quickly find what you've deemed valuable in specific commentary series.

Thanks alabama. That was another option I considered. Could you elaborate on "organizing notes by reference?"
but it could look quite funny in another translation since word order may vary significantly.
That's what I was thinking. I can only imagine how those highlights would render in The Message!

  • Note file for highlighting in commentaries

I'm trying to get more organized in Logos and keep all of my highlighting in relevant note files. So far I am utilizing the approach of creating a note file for each book and keeping the highlights in that note file. However, because of the sheer volume of commentaries I have I think a separate note file for each commentary may get overwhelming (i.e

Kathy, How do you intend to use your library offline? If you are planning on using advanced search features such as passage guide or Bible word study then there is no need to download your resources because you will have to be connected to the internet in order to use these features. However, if you plan to read from a plethora of volumes in your library

Also, some resources are not available on the iPad app. You can check specific resources on the Logos product information page for compatibility.

  • Re: Logos 4 and the new Ipad

Kathy, In response to your second question, you do not use Logos 4 on the iPad; you use the Logos iPad app that is available from the App Store. You can then download as many of your resources as you would like to you iPad for offline viewing. I have Platinum plus many other resources and I have downloaded 895 volumes to the iPad. This takes up 4.8GB
So I guess you can have as many resources prioritized as you want!
My mistake! I suppose I should go to Camp 2. In Camp 1 Moe encouraged us to keep the list of prioritized resources to five and to keep them in catgegorical order. Learn something new about Logos everyday!

  • Re: Right click menu
Can you prioritize right click choices? Or does prioritizing only apply to passage and exegetical guide reports?
Prioritized resources should be showing up in the bottom left portion of the right click menu. One thing to make sure of is that your prioritized resources are limited to no more than 5 choices in 6 categories
