  • Re: Okay, I give in...

No, when I look at the list of threads within the forum week forum they are not listed in order of most recent post. They are scattered randomly. For example this thread has been near the middle of the thread list for the last several days even though it has consistently had the most recent post. I thought maybe it was unique to safari on my iPad but

Another strange thing I have noticed is that the threads in this forum do not appear in the normal order of most recent comments.

Stephen, Assuming that the High Defintiion New Testament link was not the egg, could you explain why the promo video says that "you are our one millionth customer and have won a carribbean cruise?"

[quote user="David Siauw"] Stephen, I think I found it. It's in your Round 2 post. You said this ( note the word OUT and FOCUS ): "*Personal note: If you haven't seen the video about the High Definition New Testament, you definitely should check it out ! I personally think a resource like this is incredibly helpful in understanding the New Testament

  • Re: WHICH ENGLISH BIBLE TRANSLATION IS BEST?

You will not get a consensus on this question. There are simply too many English translations and too many applications for the Word to ever come to a conclusion that there is one best translation. With that said I have several translations that I am partial to. My primary translation is the NASB 95 Update. I have stuck with the NASB for most of my

  • Re: Tablets: Apple or Android?

I just received my iPad2 last week and so far I am very happy with it. I specifically waited for the 2nd generation for 2 reasons: 1) I never buy first generation anything, and 2) I knew that I needed the ability to skype. My brother in law has a 1st gen iPad and as we have compared notes it is obvious that the iPad2 is faster especially if you plan

  • Dual Columns on Ipad

I just received my new ipad2 and have heard that the logos app supports dual columns. If so, how do I do that? For example I would like to have a bible and a commentary open at the same time or have the ESV text and the study notes open at the same time. Thanks.

  • Could we get an update on Android?

I know I'm not the only Logos user anxiously awaiting the Android app. Could we get some kind of update or timeline as to when we might expect this to be available. I'm not looking for specifics I just want to be able to stop checking logos.com every few days to see if it is available yet if it won't be out for a few months. :) Thanks.

  • Keep the CD's?

I now have a bunch of Logos/Libronix Cd's that I really can't imagine ever needing now that L4 only needs serial numbers. Is there any reason I should hang on to these Cd's that I'm not aware of? I like simple living and any time I can eliminate clutter I do.

Thanks for the quick replies everyone. You've given me several things to dig into. I hadn't thought of searching "prayer for humbling." That was a great idea. Thomas that collection looks awesome. Now if only I could find an extra $250 laying around!

  • Seeking help on prayer topic

Recently someone asked me if it was appropriate to pray for God to wreck someone's life so that they would be humbled to a point of crying out to Him. After multiple search attempts I am having trouble locating a resource in my library that addresses this question. I have Platinum with a number of other resources (mostly commentaries). I'm not looking

  • Wish List

I know Logos is in the process of updating the website but I would like to suggest that they add a "wishlist" feature. As I am browsing through the product listings (looking at all the great resources I can't afford now) it would be nice to be able to click on an item and have it remembered for when funds become available. Currently I keep an excel
