Todd, did you recently switch to Mac?
I started using my Mac more within the past year. Before that I did all my testing on windows.

Yes, unreleased resources to which you have a license will automatically download when they are available.
Clicking elsewhere on the line does nothing for me. The triangle isn't disappearing for me, but it also doesn't toggle open/closed. I have to specifically click on the triangle to toggle it.
The disappearing triangle was fixed for me in a recent beta. But as PetahChristian mentions, we still have to click on the

Thanks for the quick turnaround.

I picked up à Brakel's The Christian’s Reasonable Service in the current sale (thanks!). But it is tagged as type "Monograph" when it should probably be "Systematic Theology". Can we get this changed? It's certainly more systematic than the other resources tagged "Systematic Theology" in my screenshot.

This is still a problem in the current beta. Don't other Mac users see this problem?
-
I forgot to state that I am on a Mac, if it makes a difference.
Is it possible that is what happened that you had opened it at some point in the past and it shows up?
No, I never really use the feature and it's showing up on obscure books and new books
Does this happen with resources

The mulitple resource view button is on for every resource I open for the first time the current version. I can turn it off, and it stays off for that resource, but it looks like the default value is "on" for some reason.

Agreed. It's a waste of screen space to have it there.

The disappearing triangle is clearly a bug of some sort, but it seems to me that clicking anywhere in that line (not just the triangle) should open and close the group section, but it is not.
That works in Windows, as well as clicking the icon.
I thought so. Thanks for checking

I have 8.1 Beta 1 (Mac), but the problem was occurring in the released version too. It occurs when the library is sorted by a column that groups the results (type, author, series, etc). Clicking on the triangle twisty control works properly, but clicking anywhere else in the header line of a group makes the triangle twisty control disappear. The disappearing

This will work: (a OR b) BEFORE 1 WORD c This will not: (a AND b) BEFORE 1 WORD c INTERSECTS and NOT INTERSECTS have the same problem. WELL... Now they are working for me. I tried several times yesterday and today before I posted. And now they seem to be fine.

The videos in Walking with C. S. Lewis are not playing for me. They attempt to play, but they timeout and fail. All my other video resources work fine. Is something broken with this resource?
Hi Todd, This is a known issue in the latest beta for mac: https://wiki.logos.com/Logos_7.14_Beta_1 (Known Issues at bottom) Does the workaround there not work?
Thanks for pointing that out. But it crashes on every restart. (3 times so far). It may be finished with the actual indexing, but I'm not sure.
-
My indexer recently started crashing regularly...I think with this beta. I have a 2014 MacBook Pro 6403.LogosIndexerCrash.txt 3755.LogosIndexerError.log 0844.Indexer.log It now does it every time I start up Logos and leaves the indexing message stuck on the tool bar:

The newer one (NDBT) lists the older one (AYDB) in the bibliography section at the end of the article. Both are dictionaries/encyclopedias. I don't know if encyclopedia articles (especially general audience works) always use in-line citations so I'm not sure of convention. Perhaps the bibliography reference is sufficient.
Grab story of God Bible commentary sermon on the mount before it’s gone: https://www.logos.com/product/49619/story-of-god-bible-commentary-sermon-on-the-mount Christian bookstore says it’s no longer available.
Thanks for your question. The High Definition Old Testament (HDOT) and High Definition New Testament (HDNT) were renamed the Lexham Discourse Hebrew Old Testament and the Lexham Discourse Greek New Testament . They are both sold individually or in a bundle together .
Jake, I believe you might be mistaken. The High
