• Re: What would be the best set up for logos on a laptop to follow along and participate in a Sunday school class
wants to follow along and participate in the class
I guess I am going to talk about this somewhat differently even though you and I will end up in the same place. If I were participating in a class and wanted to use Logos, I'd do most of the work before class and use notes to record any observations or any questions
...or not. I don't have any use for this feature. I was successful in sharing the document, but it did not create a "community note." I assume those are two different things.
I did get the community note from the reference that you shared. Check to see if you got mine on Proverbs 3:1-2 (NASB95).

Aaron have you looked under the Guides menu and scrolled down to the section entitled Custom Guides? (You may have to expand it to see your custom guides.)

  • Re: How have the forums helped you?

I doubt I would have been as much of a customer of Faithlife had it not been for the recommendations of fellow Forum members, which I've found to be quite helpful (and sometimes expensive!), especially in areas outside by background and experience. My theological outlook has not changed, but it has been broadened quite a bit by interacting and reading

  • Re: Colors and Look
Thanks for the help but it does not work well with all panels.
Correct. It only affects resources. What you want is the option to change the colors or shading of the entire program. I wouldn't think providing that option would be too hard for Faithlife to accomplish, but they do have a lot already planned, so it seems

  • Re: The "All" Series by Hebert Lockyer

I found this list online and annotated it. There are several more not on Rosie's list, on pre-pub, or already published that are needed. 1. All the Men of the Bible (Faithlife ebook) 2. All the Teachings of Jesus (pre-pub) 3. All the Doctrines of the Bible (Rosie's list) 4. All the Messianic Prophecies of the Bible (Rosie's list) 5. All the Kings and
All the Parables of the Bible All the Prayers of the Bible All the Divine Names and Titles in the Bible All the Doctrines of the Bible All the Messianic Prophecies of the Bible All the Apostles of the Bible
I can't believe I haven't missed having these in Logos format. Somehow it just escaped my notice, so I am glad

  • Re: Colors and Look

James, under Tools>Program Settings scroll down to Accessibility. There you'll find a limited number of options for changing the background colors of the resource panels. There is no way to change the foreground (text) colors, but you can change the fonts used and you have a little control over line spacing. Look under the Text Display section of

  • Re: New Treasury of Scripture Knowledge, significant verses filter

Joe, unfortunately there is no way to do what you'd like to do as those text symbols are not searchable and even if they were there would have to be a link between the symbol and the text, which doesn't exist, either. Sorry.
No, this is the first notice that the feature is actually being really removed.
I'd hardly call this a notice. It's gone! Perhaps it would be a good idea to actually post a notice before this beta becomes the next stable edition.
I appreciate that Logos tried something new, but the prices are too high.
I agree. I don't think any of the bundles I've looked at so far would be worth the cost to me. My cheapest bundle so far is just over $110 and the most expensive is north of $300.
