Th Big Surprise with a Big price tag. No thought for the little guy.
That is correct. Almost all large (and expensive) packages. However, the WBC for $399 is quite good. That's what I paid for the 54 volume series years ago, so now 61 volumes is the same price. If anyone doesn't have it but wants it, it is almost certain

I'd suggest watching the tutorials on Searching available on the Logos website. There is also search info in Logos Help available on your Logos installed software, and on wiki.logos.com. You'll be glad to better understand how to directly use the search function. Since you have a larger library, creating collections and searching just those collections

You haven't told us how you are doing your 'global search'. It might help if you'd tell us exactly what you are doing and what you are trying to do. The Search Tool is the best approach. If I search Bible Study Magazine I find references I know are there. The basic syntax is where you supply the Bible reference. I can find scripture references in Edersheim
Hi Mark, Since those three volumes are still on pre-pub, there was a backend pricing issue that was causing the discrepancy. This should be resolved now.
I think there is still something amiss. My total now is $97.66. This is a savings of $7.31 over full price (about 6%). I clicked on this collection

Here is what my missing volumes should cost: ($104.93) Yet, after dynamic pricing and a bundle discount my offered price is: Something is amiss!
It shows as “Planned” on my end. Does that mean it’s “under development”? DAL
There are three steps shown in the Logos Roadmap: This is my take: Needs Your Opinion: the voting stage Planned: enough votes; will eventually be put in development In Progress: handed over to the software developers; in development In my first
Read about it here 👍😁👌 : https://feedback.faithlife.com/boards/logos-desktop-app/posts/add-hyperlinking-to-sermon-builder#_=_ DAL
Looks like its under development so doesn't need our vote.
I wonder if all WS people were downgraded?
Just to add my experience: I didn't come to Logos via WS but did have some WS resources. I got the WS version of Foxes on Wednesday. As I reported here , I did have, and still do have, the Logos version of this resource.

This was fixed this week.
I seems possible that this fix took away the pre-Wordsearch license to the existing Logos edition of Foxe's Book from those that were prior owners of the Logos version but also owned it through WS (I must confess I don't even know if I belong to that group or not
It would be fine with me to only put Logos and Mendeley and MS Office on it. I would prefer to add Anki and OneNote, but that is secondary.
If MS Office, Logos, and these are all you'll be using, the 250 GB should be fine. Photos, videos, and music are GB eaters. If you don't load those (or keep it under control

Kathleen, I'm guessing that the lack of response so far may be due to lack of experience with refurbished laptops among our Forum users. I am in that no experience group. That said, there are a couple of specs you haven't shared. One is the processor you'd be receiving. A second is whether a discrete graphics card is included, and if so, what its specs

I have not had this issue. If I did the first thing I'd try is closing Logos, rebooting the computer, and opening it again. Have you tried this?
It is 5 years old! Here is a Verbum Tip for it.
Well I am not observant enough. I may have seen it years ago and have totally forgotten. I noticed it (again?) when the documentation was updated yesterday. Nevertheless, I'd like to have the ability to close the LH panel.
Is it as simple as downloading the software from the website (which I can log on to), and letting it do its thing?
Yes. Get the free Logos Basic which may add just a few resources, but will not eliminate any you already have. Depending on the size of your library you may encounter some large downloads to update

I'm assuming this is a new tool. (At least this is the first I've seen it.) I'll be checking it out more thoroughly. Could you had the option to open or close the navigation sidebar like we have in almost all other resources (the stacked pancake icon)? Once I find an event I will be able to see the contents better by closing the navigation panel. Thanks

This is primarily a translation aid. For that purpose (translating the Hebrew) it can be a help to those who have less facility in Hebrew than would be required to translate directly from the Hebrew text, So, unless your goal is to translate a lot of Hebrew text, it would not be of much help to you. You are correct in stating that the information it

You have a resource in your Library called All the Turning Points in the Bible. It is a commentary. The Introduction to the commentary indicates some ways the tagged events can be searched for in your tagged Bibles. It also points out how they will show up in the context menu of a tagged Bible and in the Information pane.

Very challenging diagnosis. Will pray for Dr. Heiser and family.

Carlos, welcome to the forums. It is unusual to have Logos installed anywhere but the C: drive. You must have chosen to install it on the E: drive when you first installed it. It does seem your E: drive has little free space remaining (590 MB) which is what you are seeing with the warning. I would see about moving non-Logos files off the E: drive to

I am running 9.6 on my desktop computer. Here are screenshots of highlighting on that installation. Single line highlights are easy to spot: Facebook entry underlines are also able to be seen clearly:
