• Re: Unstable Behavior While Working With Library
Let's see if I can explain this adequately. While I am tagging a resource or resources I frequently see the entry I am working on shift off of the current field I'm working in to the field where it says No Resource Selected such that I have to select the rename tag to finish entering metadata. Is this an internet strength problem

  • Re: Community Tag and Add Label on New Context Menu

Disciple, There is an issue where the "Add community tag" only shows up if you have more than one word selected. We have a case written up for this bug. In looking at 8.6 I don't believe there was a way to "Add a label" from the context menu. That was done through Highlighting Styles.

I've filed a bug report. Thanks for letting us know. As a work around you can open the Bible and use the context menu there.
That’s it! Only one problem... Logos shows the results...with ESV only...with the English words translating hesed just how I want it! When I chose “Print What Is On The Screen”, it only shows a blank page on my “Print/Export” preview...am I missing something?
I've created a case to fix

Also try running a Morph Search on the lemma instead of a Bible search.

  • Re: Export Verse List WITHOUT HEBREW?
I think I found that it was in “Grid” view - maybe that doesn’t export well. I changed to “Verses” and the ESV shows twice (see attached).
In the Add Version box, go there and remove the ESV. You don't need that since your already searching the ESV.
It worked...in that it created a report with only the ESV. Unfortunately, it didn’t maintain the highlighted English words (which is a feature I appreciated about the textual search export). But, maybe it is a case of I can’t have my cake and eat it too?
You could run the search in the ESV and remove

  • Re: Export Verse List WITHOUT HEBREW?

You should be able to save your search as a Passage List. You can then remove the Hebrew Translation and then list just the ESV.
As an update, I've tested with Built in styles in the CBV tool and they often don't work either. Here's a screenshot to show the result in Word. Below the top one is the result when I use the CBV tool and the Copy and Paste button. The bottom is when I use the Styled button in the new context menu and then do a CTL+V
I use keynote for my sermons. Trying to integrate Logos with Keynote is always a pain. The idea of "Visual Copy" is good, but the actual process is too simple to be useful. Why can't I break verses between slides where I want them? Why can't it insert editable slides? I may want to bold or underline the text - or even change
Hi Danny. I *think* the problem is that when the resource was created, it smart-quote-ified the straight quotes in the examples. We'll get that fixed and republish the resource, but in the meantime I think if you change smart quotes to straight quotes in the examples, you'll do OK.
This has been fixed
