When the search hits are significant, over 100, it would be great if the window populated closed and let us open the areas we want rather than scrolling down to get to the next item of interest. Here is an example.

Hi Steve, It looks like you are trying to highlight the LXX Greek text to Lake's AP- English. Open Lake's Apostolic Fathers-English in one window and Lake's Apostolic Fathers-Greek in another. click on the 3 rings and select sympathetic Highlighting and is should work.

Do you have Greek Grammar Beyond the Basics? If so, go to Pg 358 or: libronixdls:jump|pos=LLS-AOL:0 .188.0|res=LLS:46.20.1026 I hope the links works, but if not you have the page # above.

I like the new cited by features, but miss how the old cited by included series. This was especially helpful with the theological journals. Is there a way that can be included with the collections? Also, this was a good feature for those that may not have set up collections.

This can be a really great tool for MT/LXX searching, but the duplicates make is less effective.

Parallels 5 does not require a new VM, however there has been some talk about Win 7 being faster than XP... I am looking forward to Logos for Mac. i will still have a few windows programs, but will probably never upgrade past XP.

Thanks for the clarification. I believe L3 used the ctrl key, which if pressed would not change the info window. Perhaps this or a setting that required the ctrl key to be pressed for the info window to populate would work?

Hi Harry, Perhaps I am misunderstanding your request. Why not just close the window as it is not required to be in a layout? Or float it and minimize it until you need it .. Or even combine it with other reports in the same window and only select the information window tab when you need it. it will not populate if it is hidden. just some ideas with

I read in another thread that Logos has tested both VMware and Parallels and found Parallels 5 out performed VMware. The trial is free in the event any one is interested. I went from Parallels 3 to 5 and noticed a significant speed difference. I know that Parallels 4 drop was a disaster and is probably the reason most of you are using fusion but it

Hi Bill, Open 3 resources and then go to layouts and select the one that has the 3 horizontal windows. You should be able to add the additional windows and move the resources from that point. When you have 3 windows open, just don't move one that only has one resource. Add others and them move them around. The layout function is really pretty easy once

Here is a link to my blog that has a youtube video with some ideas and suggestions on OT/NT studies. Hopefully the video and sound problems have been corrected. Comments and recommendations welcome. http://biblesoftwarenewsletter.blogspot.com/2009/11/video-on-studying-ot-in-nt-using-logos.html

My collections came over perfectly. I installed over my 4.0 account.

Kevin, Using the floating windows you can make it look like almost anything..

Glad it got you thinking... regarding search time, if you enlarge my screenshot BW is .02sec and L4 is .35sec. Percentage wise it may be significant, but not from a practical standpoint. Note it was not the first search I ran in L4.. subsequent searches are faster. I am running L4 beta on a Macbook Pro using Parallels 5. L4 is really flexible, but I

I would recommend you open a basic search and then search a topical resource or collection for "kingdom of God" or even "kingdom of God" AND "old testament" There are some articles in Every Teaching of Jesus in the Bible. Often times topical references can get us into the biblical text and then we can perform cross references to other scripture from

I wonder why we decide to install a beta on a friday night Gluttons for punishment or too excited to see what lies ahead?

Thanks for the advise and encouragement. This is the first beta I have not participated in going back to Logos 2. The pain inflicted is a bit greater with the downloads and reindexing. I appreciate the pain you have endured to get us this far. I assume that when the beta becomes live we can update and get off this train at anytime without reinstalling

thanks for the clarification. Also, I see reference where everyone is logging into a "beta account". Did I mess up installing this on my own Logos account? If so, what do you advise?
