I have another work around in the meantime: highlight the verses for example in TSK right mouse click and then select "add a clipping". Name your new clippings what you would a verse list. While you do not get the actual verses, you can hover and get them... Just a suggestion until the real deal is available.

I am using Parallels 5 and having a very good experience with speed. There is a trial download and conversion of your VMWare if you are so inclined to give it a try.
-
You may want to try Parallels 5. I have found it very fast. There were problems with Parallels 4 that appear to have been fixed. There is a free trial, so it may be worth a try until L4 Mac is ready.

Most excellent work Logos Team! Keep it up and enjoy the party.

Stuart you can click on the three circles on the resource you want to shut the filters off. If you hover over it says visual filters and uncheck the ones you do not want. The other option is to edit the visual filters and Search in change english or all bibles or whatever you have to just the bible you want to show the filters. I hope this is clear

I played around a bit and found that in parallels I can direct the Logos Mac directory to the L4 resources directory on the windows side and it will read all the L3 resources. Any L4 resources such as bibles with interlinears will not come across, so you will need to keep these resources in a separate directory. You MAY be able to move them to the L4
-
Hi Donavan, 1. Yes it is normal 2. Yes. L4 highly recommends you use the default directories due to syncing of resources. There is some talk of ways to get around this by redirecting drives, but I think it was for users of Win 7. 3. You possibly could direct your Logos Mac to the VM ware side, but you would need to have VM ware open to read the books

The other option if you know you do not want to sync, is to go to tool/program preferences and turn of "use the internet". That change requires a restart. Turning it back on also requires a restart and as such may not sync your changes. So, if you are not doing much that will need to be sync'd give this a try and see if it helps. Perhaps they should

If you are doing a lot of library management, creation of collections, tagging library, creating workspaces, L4 is syncing those with the cloud and this causes my computer CPU to go high. I do believe this is a known issue and they are working on a fix. If you are not doing these tasks, then I don't have any other ideas.

Greetings, I just finished my update from Parallels 3 to 5. I had this happen only one time and I believe it was due to closing L4 when P5 was in windows mode and then opening L4 when I was in coherence. L4 wants to open to the last screen, on my setup and this caused some resolution and video issues. I also removed 3d accelerator from the video configuration

Gerry, If you use the right and left arrow keys on your computer keyboard the resources will shift. If you prioritize your resources in the library, they will change to those resources in that order first. Lastly, if you click on the + next to the resource tab, it will open similar resources, but in a much smarter way than L3. Open a commentary specifically

Hi Jack, I have played with many of the guides, search boxes and tools. For example open a "cited by" tool (formerly reference browser) and select the drop down box. Mine had my journals already spit by publisher, some other series already setup and then all my collections that I created. The PG is set up to allow users to return to the default setting

how about right mouse click on task bar icon and you get pause and cancel. it only makes sense what do you think bradley?
-
I will reindex tonight... however, I suggest that this popup be removed. It is not clear especially since this process is new and the consequences are significant... please.
-
Todd, If I read things correctly, I believe that would make things even worse. I want to stop this index and return to the supplemental index.
-
I was searching in Lake's Apostolic Fathers and saw a pop up that this was a new resource and I should run an index. Reading about supplemental indexes being much shorter, I did. The estimated time is almost 9 hrs, similar to a complete index. I think the supplemental index had run and the popup was for a full merger. If so I want to stop this and not

Daniel, The right and left arrows still work, and I believe use your prioritized bibles first.
-
After rebooting the computer and restarting L4 the problem is resolved.
-
Internet is on, sync now appears to work, but there is no indicator.
-
Today the circular sync indicator in the toolbar is gone. I have been doing lots of tagging and reworking of collections on my office computer that does not appear to be syncing anymore to my laptop. Is this a change and is the lag due to this change? Please advise.
