It is a bug and should work in both. Hopefully FL can put a case together to address it.

Thanks for the additional info. I tried it in dark mode and while it worked on some rings, it did get it to flicker on one of the larger rings. Can you test it in regular mode just to see if there is anything specific with your computer as well?
-
Hi Martin, I am assuming you are running the BWS on a Greek lemma and the ring shows all the english words that lemma is translated as. When you hover your mouse over one section of the ring and leave it there, you get a translation ring pop up that shows that English word and all the Greek lemmas that are translated as that word. See screenshot below

I have a 2011 MBP still running great except the batter life is not very long. You can send them in for battery replacement. I use it mostly plugged in anyway and just bought a MBP M1.

While I understand the comments regarding the difficulty of certain types of searches in Logos, it is good to remember that other bible software does not have persons, speakers, addressees and other items tagged items available in their texts. Logos has provided many, perhaps too many, ways to interact with the text through searches, labels and tagged

Try a bible search for: Pharisee AND gam*

Hi Joey and welcome. Did you start with a commentary that is part of that collection? In other words, the parallel icon only includes collections that contain the commentary you are looking for parallels to.

Greeting, In addition to the advise above, if you are purchasing a Laptop with an M1 chip, which is highly recommended so your Mac is not obsolete out of the box, then I know of no way to install WS on the Mac unless you can find an emulator that works with a non-intel chip.

Hi Jordan, Have you looked the bible browser in tools? It should give you a good idea of all the things mentioned in Psalms. You can select them one at a time. It may help you develop your search. You can use sense rather than things if you want as well.

When I want detailed information regarding a book off the bible I enter it into Factbook and scroll down to the section called Bible Guide. There Logos will gather from you library information on origin, background etc. Here is a screenshot: You will also find an extensive gathering of other pertinent information to the book.

I do a few things to avoid this issue: 1. I select the bible I want references to go to and select "send hyperlinks here". Click on the three dots on the upper right to find it. 2. Logos wants to open your top prioritized bible, so if you do not have one open, it will open one. Try moving the bible you are using to the top in priority. 3. I have two

Hi Morgan, I can confirm that this does not work (yet?). If you link to a BWS there is a link to the morphology charts in the Lemma section, so it is just a click away if that work around helps.
Hey, I'm reasonably new to Logos and I've never used Visual Filters before and was wondering how they work. How would I create a Visual Filter for: Hapax Legomemon Greek etc. Many thanks, Matt
Here is how I set up a Visual Filter for Hapax for Greek: 1. Open Visual Filter and set it up as follows: Then copy and paste

Hi Roger, One place to start your research is the "Textual Variants Guide". It is in the default Exegetical Guide as a section or can be open as a separate guide in the Guides section. It provides access to online manuscripts.

I have the first two volumes. I think they may have been part of a base package or Faithlife Connect subscription. The NT is complete, so it is the OT that they are working on. Quite a bit of work goes into these and the links to the many Logos resources within the commentary. I think the OT will be a very useful resource. As to the timing and completion

I am afraid you last question is above my pay grade. Perhaps someone more adept at those kinds of searches can assist. Interesting research.

I do not know how reliable it is. I get 4 verses in the NT and if you look there are a lot of background subcategories which make them rather specific. You should read the manual and determine if the methodology is appropriate for your research.

If you open Factbook and type in Joshua and then select Joshua son of Nun, does this provide you what you want?

Hi Morgan, The best workaround I can offer you is to expand the search and hover over the result as shown below:
