Paul, I have used the Exodus one a bit, Durham is probably not your first choice as Childs, Enns, Stuart or the new Apollos (or Carpenter have not read this one yet) one would be, but having said that I had picked up a few things from Durham that have been useful.

I agree with what everyone say, but put at number spot a 1 volume comentary. By placing a 1 volume commentary on top gives me a brief context and highlights the main points of the passage in a small read.

Exodus Carpenters commentary is now in the EEC series by Lexham press. 1& 2 Kings is currently being done by Hess The other OT comentaries and their projected arthorsare available at Best commentaries Webb is still working on 2 Peter
