I enjoyed reading Crazy Busy . The author doesn't discuss burnout per se but provides practical tips on how to address some of its potential causes. Short, non-technical book. https://ebooks.faithlife.com/product/35761/crazy-busy-a-mercifully-short-book-about-a-really-big-problem

Yes, it currently appears under "Not on this device". I'll post with logs the next time it gets added again (possibly when I grab some new resources / there are new updates).

I've been trying to remove the resource "LT271 Study the Bible with Logos: Jonah 1 (Videos)" from my library. Each time I right-click > Remove from device, it shows that it's been removed. However, when I reboot Logos 8.0.0.0026 on my MBP, the resource gets downloaded again. This has happened 3-4 times already.

To make things a tad more confusing, I received this in my mailbox today: Faithlife original ebooks: use coupon code FREEORIGINALMAR to claim your free book (Faithlife Essentials and above). Browse Faithlife original ebooks .

Thanks for sharing, Andrew. Can confirm I don't have (at least) the first four books in that list. @FaithLife - Would it be possible for you guys to provide an official list, please?
-
Can anyone confirm the content of the "new libraries" now availalbe? No books added to my library, yet
No books added on my end yet. Is it because I already have all the books that they were intending to add as temporary resources? [unlikely]

Thanks for your suggestions. Isaiah by the Day and Psalms by the Day aren't available on Logos at the moment. I've read through some of the samples and am considering getting the hardcover. I've also skimmed through a couple of passages in 365 Days with Spurgeon (Vol. 1) . Quite beautifully written (or rather, spoken), I must say.

Most of the rest I forget.
Don't forget F7 when hovering over a verse to do a quick text comparison. That's one of the most useful keyboard-only features IMO.
This is awesome! Btw, Mac users might need to do a fn-F7.

Hi Kevin, I can't find a way to do that on the desktop app. You might wish to consider using https://app.logos.com and fire up the Information Panel (Tools > Information). The transliterated text can be copied in that panel.

All the best with your learning journey, Puddin! Just started on mine (still at the Alephbets); I'm giving Futato's Beginning Biblical Hebrew a go.
I don't have any clue what is wrong or what would be right for the following clip. Does anyone have this set in hard copy who could post the corrected text? Thanks. [specific problem in bold] Much is made of the fact that Elihu is ignored in the Epilogue as if this were proof that he was put in by an interpolated But Satan

Yeah - some of these publishers love to bundle things. Zondervan has these classes online too ( https://courses.zondervanacademic.com/biblical-languages/hebrew/biblical-hebrew ). But for that price, you're better off buying the Logos bundle.
-
Do you have BBG Video lectures on Logos? If you do, you should be able to get the bundle ( https://www.logos.com/product/34026/zondervan-biblical-languages-video-lectures ) with Dynamic Pricing. If not, you might be out of luck as BBH/BBG aren't sold individually ( https://www.logos.com/product/54586/basics-of-biblical-hebrew-video-lectures ).

Agree that this behaviour is frustrating. Perhaps if they made the Windows version similar to the Mac, you wouldn't face the issue of accidentally clicking on the "+". On SR-2 for the Mac, the right arrow doesn't disappear even when I've reached the last tab I was going to suggest you use the shortcut (Ctrl-Tab / Ctrl-Shift-Tab) to navigate from one

On the rightmost panel (which loads when I left-click the name), we have the information panel incorrectly showing the excerpt for "Shema, Son of Joel". In the middle section (which appears when I right-click the name), we have the popup window correctly identifying and linking the LBD article "Shema, Son of Hebron". What's up with the Information Panel
-
Yeah, we can no longer do that in Logos 8. See: https://community.logos.com/forums/p/175025/1011674.aspx#1011674
Almost certainly the base package. Books in base packages are discounted to around 90% off the regular price. Add on top of that the 25% promotional discount, and you're looking at a 92.5% discount off the regular price. That means you're paying $1.50 for a $20 book vs. $5 for a $20 book. Scanning the list of books
-
Wipf & Stock books going for 5 bucks each. Logos 8 Base Packages include a "First Upgrade Discount". Some of these base packages include aforementioned (heavily) discounted Wipf & Stock books. What would be the cheaper option: Buying the Base Package first or buying the individual resources first?

I can't reproduce this on my Mac. From your logs, it appears that you're using macOS 10.14. I had an issue ( https://community.logos.com/forums/t/174992.aspx ) which was solved simply by updating my OS. You might want to consider upgrading to 10.14.1 and see if that solves the problem.
