  • Re: Accidental Closure of Tabs

As one who started in Logos 2.0 Beta, and now over $10K, here’s my two shekels. It’s not Logos’ fault I like to have 50+ tabs open. On a 13” MBP icons are very small, accidental closures too often. IF at all possible, migrate to a larger screen, and / or figure out how to do “layers.” I now use a 27” iMac at

Old file: Bookmark; Another file called 1BkMk (so it's always at top); Renamed Bookmark to 2BkMk so they are sorted closer. In 2BkMk clicked on first note (at top), hold shift, click on last note (at bottom). Thin line at left indicated all files are chosen. Clicked notes in 2BkMk, hold click, drag to 1BkMk. This is uploading to Logos / FL so may take

  • Re: Ctrl- Alt-C

I have Logos 8 on Mac for when Win10 crashes and I need to keep working on Logos 8 Mac until fix. I do not use it often. This Ctrl-Alt-C issue relates only to Office 2106 Pro on Win10 Pro via Fusion 11. At your suggestion I've checked all options in MacOS, Word; and Fusion options and settings - problem remains. This does not work: If I am at Hebrews

I don't know why the lines duplicated. "Story" stops after [ I prefer the Mac machine, but prefer Logos on Windows] (Yes I run Logos on both machines, but primarily on Windows)

  • Ctrl- Alt-C

Ctrl-Alt-C to copy reference location no longer works [it used to]. 3 dots to copy still works, but not keyboard-short. This is a terrific feature to copy location, go to Word, Ctrl-K, and paste hyperlink. ¿Perhaps some “update” knocked it out? Since a call to Logos tech support: 1) I deleted / reinstalled L8 on Win 10; downloaded

  • Re: Library upgrades in Logos 8

May I humbly caution that we worship the Creator, Abba Father, rather than this creation called "Logos~LIfe." There used to be numbers, like Win 3.1, then it went to years, such as 95, 98. Then came M.E., XP, now back to numbers 8, skip 9 to 10. Suggestion: how about things like Bronze 7, 8; or Silver 4, 5; or Platinum 2016, 2018 - in order to see that

  • Re: Does Easter really fall on the true date of Easter this year?

Could someone please refresh my memory where I should post my reply to this question? If I remember correctly Logos does not want to “clog up the lines” with theological discussions, but I cannot find the link. A briefest summary on this for now is, " TODAY - if you hear His voice." That solves all calendar and “correct day”

  • Re: Helping a friend learn Logos

IF you are referring to Logos 8, having gone through many of the training videos, my recommendation is to watch the Logos 8 videos, and follow along each step. This is a huge learning curve, more for some than for others. Since I am on a limited ("Unlimited Plan"- ha) I download the videos once to conserve "time," and then can watch them over and over

Bradley Grainger (Faithlife) posted to Re: Logos 8 Wishlist in the Logos 7 forum Earth. Those of us who now know that “life begins at 70” may have a different perspective on Logos 8 than the younger (along with ‘churchanity' in general)... Firstly, Thank you! Secondly, what I ‘wish’ for now is a “global back / history

  • Re: I think I found a solution to the Book mark dilema...!

In L7 I had notes "1BkMk" and "2BkMk." This assured notes would be to the top of the list. 1 was for active reading; 2 was for intended reading. To place bookmark, I right clicked to add to appropriate note. HOWEVER, things have changed, and I have to admit I am fumbling my way through an entirely new Notes paradigm in which, for now, I am totally lost

Things are getting a little confusing. Library needs an indicator of what is owned, rented, temporary with expiry date. I have a resource good for a month, or six months, but not knowing duration they may go away unused. Some would consider this 'poor stewardship.' Rather than a temporary resource expiring 30 days / six months from download, the 'countdown

    1) Allow user to change tray icon and start up splash screen. [e.g. change to a menorah (aka KJV "candlestick" SEE He 9:2) which agrees with Re 1:12. Others, such as Pentecostals, Charismatics, etc. may prefer a dove symbol. While Paul preached the cross, other aspects are equally valid to many. For Hebrews believers and others, He is seen standing

[What's in Logos should stay in Logos] “hic noster Hierosolymarius” ( https://ref.ly/logosres/hsnttmsjss?ref=VolumePage.V+1%2c+p+210&off=39 ) For Logos to be more useful would be for phrases like this to be found in a Logos Phrasebook. My apologies: My comment about a Logos Phrasebook was premature. Right click on two words, then in pop-up window: Search: then scroll down to "all resources" or "everything." This will find more info although some is in Latin or Greek, etc. [What's in Logos should stay in Logos]

Although I have MW11, CED, and COED prioritized, often MW10 pops up when a word is double clicked, although that word is in MW11. This needs fixed. Option for a keyboard keystroke to start OR pause [Ctrl / Cmd+R] when reading aloud is enabled. Normally space bar = page-down. When reading aloud, space bar could (should) be enabled to be used for pause
